Enjoy family gatherings in the top floor screened in porch, where you can smell the salt air and feel the ocean breeze. And the bay breeze as well. This house is just a few feet away from the junction of the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware Bay. You can see the dunes (and sunsets) from the second floor.
Along with the screened in porch, there's a sun room upstairs that functions as a second living room. Let your group spread out a bit. The great room downstairs combines living, dining and kitchen into a big family friendly space. Three of the four bedrooms are also on the first floor - convenient if you're traveling with young children or their grandparents.
Cape May Point is a beautiful quiet spot to spend some time in the Spring. In the Fall the bird and butterfly migrations are an awesome experience.

Why Bob Farley chose Cape May Point
My parents met in Cape May Point in 1936. As a child I spent my summers there. In 1998 I was fortunate enough to fulfill a dream and purchased this property. The Point now is in essence our family's home away from home. I now have the joy of walking the beach that I walked with my grandfather with my 12 grandchildren.
What makes this House unique
If you are not familiar with Cape May Point it is a small hamlet at the southern tip of New Jersey. When you are there you will experience the feeling of being in a quiet relaxed place where children still can play in the streets. The unique city of Cape May is only 2 miles away. The Wildwoods with heir attractions are less than 5 miles away. Atlantic City is less than 1 hour away. Shopping is 5 miles away in Rio Grande. So you can experience a vacation that is very quiet and relaxing yet there are plenty of other diversions and activities just a few minutes away.

So pleased with our stay
Don't be dismayed by the pictures because we were pleasantly surprise to see the kitchen/living room is beautifully updated. This house met all our needs, the bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen/living room is a great gathering space, and there is a smaller living room upstairs as well. This house is very close to the beach and the red store. My favorite house I've stayed in in Cape may Point!
Great location and accommodations for a large family
We were delighted with the location and accommodations for our large family. There were enough beds and a futon to accommodate our unexpected guests as well as the 8 people that I had planned on! Everything was in find working order and the added attractions of the screened in porch, grassy yard, children's games in the bookcase and outdoor bin filled with beach toys were a definite plus. The owner, Bob, was extremely responsive when we had questions and very personable. Our only disappointment was the kitchen--we enjoy cooking as a family and the kitchen did not have a lot of workspace and was not particularly well stocked with equipment--although it was certainly adequate for our needs. We would recommend this property to other families seeking a comfortable and well located beach vacation.
