About Lisa Schwanke
This has been our family's summer retreat for the past 25 years. My daughter and her family own the cabin right next door. Talk to her son, Michael who manages the property about guided fishing trips, unique day trips and where the best spots are to recreate on the lake. He knows the hidden gems! If you'd like to setup a trip during your stay visit www.mnvoyageurs.com or contact him at email@example.com
Why Lisa Schwanke chose Crane Lake
This place is unique in that it's one of few that has road access - making your arrival and departure smoother and easier. Cabin is rambler for easy access.. Lake side windows for gorgeous views. 200 ft of lakeshore frontage allows for spectacular views and privacy. Nearby Scotts Seaplane base is a convenient launching pad for fly-in Canadian fishing trips. A 10 min boat ride to Voyageurs National Park and the BWCA - miles and miles of pristine wilderness and unexplored interior lakes.
What makes this Cabin unique
Provides a great home-base for daily adventures on and off the lake, as well as a relaxing, comfortable space to start and end your day.
Spacious clean cabin on a beautiful bay
It was our first trip to Crane Lake and we loved it. The cabin had plenty of room and a great open layout facing the lake. Beds were comfortable and cabin well equipped. Large lawn had plenty of space for lawn games. Walleye fishing was great. We will be back.
Had a great time. Owner are Awesome
Clean, well appointed cabin, beutiful setting.
All good! well appointed cabin. We forgot a lot of spices and the cabin even had some! Great people and can't say enough how great this worked!
We had an awesome family vacation here! Can't say enough good things about it! Great place to unplug and unwind! The property has every creature comfort you need but you're still in the middle of nature! The lake, the loons, the wildlife, it was all great! Michael is a great fishing guide and was always helpful. Highly recommended! Will probably become an annual family vacation spot!
Great location, home has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Six of us stayed for
four nights, plenty of room for all of us. Home is situated on a slight hill with beautiful view of the lake.
Alot of things had changed in the house since we viewed the house over a year ago. No tv reception.
Getting in and out with trucks and boat trailers is extremely difficult!
Walleye fishing wad horrible.
We apologize for the lack of Satellite TV. To be fair we've had a Smart TV in the cabin for 3 years, which is also listed in the description so that hasn't changed. I'd be happy to help you back your trailer out and set you up with a fishing guide next time so you have better luck, I know a good one!
