You will enjoy the meticulous 2015 restoration of this first floor apt has 100 years of stories to tell. The restoration included new air and heat, plumbing, electrical, sound reduction materials, and much more. The house boasts original historic details including a wood burning fireplace, oak flooring and high ceilings. The cook in your group will enjoy the completely renovated kitchen with all the small appliances and being so well equipped. The property is entirely fenced with automatic driveway gate for parking and parking space is located just 25' from the apartment.

The approx 1000 square feet of living space has been tastefully designed by Philip Hannel, who has created a sophisticated elegance that is very inviting and comfortable. Mr Hannel has included original art works and hand woven rugs, blending contemporary furniture with mid century modern furniture.

In addition to being furnished, it also has all housewares, i.e., linens, cookware, dishes, etc. Just bring your suitcase. Maid service is available at an additional cost. The more modern conveniences include: washer/dryer, gas cooking, WIFI/high speed cable, 3 HD large screen TV's, all with DVD player, premium cable channels.

Better than any 4 star hotel! Best host ever

I cannot put into mere words what a beautiful,comfortable,and accommodating home Tim has! The decor is absolutely gorgeous,and he is a most gracious host. After Harvey we needed refuge and to forget how exhausting our past few days had been,we chose the best place for that. There are all the luxuries of a high end hotel but all the personable touches of home. Every room is perfectly decorated,and the Midtown location is convenient to everything. This was hands down my best experience on HomeAway to date and it's going to be a tall order to fill to even come close! I'm looking forward to staying again in the future if ever needed again! Thank you so much Tim for making us feel so at home and helping us forget the harshness of the days before we got there. Very kid friendly and if you like to cook like I do the kitchen is absolute perfection.

Becoming a home away from home

We've stayed at this property 3 separate times now. Mr. Womble has gone out of his way on all occasions to make the stay as seamless as possible. Close to House of Pies, we all enjoy the convent location. This is quickly becoming our home away from home when we return to the US for vacation.

Great place!

Loved the apartment! Accommodations were great, furnishings were adequate and we enjoyed our stay! The upstairs neighbors were loud late at night occasionally, but it didn't bother us much. Thanks a lot Tim!

Bedroom #1 has a king size bed. Bedroom #2 has three bed options: 1) two single beds; 2) three single beds, 3) one king and one single. In addition to that, we can also set up a single bed in the living/dining area to accommodate a sixth guest. Please let me know which option you prefer so we can have it ready for you upon your arrival.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
