About Reed

We purchased this second home to be closer to the grandkids in Bremerton and Seattle. We have enjoyed renting from VRBO over the past 10+ years and wanted to make this available when we aren't using the home.

Reed purchased this house in 2014

Why Reed chose Puget Sound North

All new furniture and new heat pump for heating and cooling.

Four kayaks included for guests to enjoy!

What makes this house unique

A great place to get away with friends or family. Enjoy beach combing and kayaking. Watch the sun go down while sitting around the fire pit and wait for the stars to come out.

We stayed in this beautiful home as one big family to celebrate the life and grieve the loss of our mother/grandmother/great grandmother L. We came from all over . . . California, Alaska, Montana, Florida, North Carolina.

We came for a funeral service, but it was here in this stunning place that we celebrated life, felt the importance of family, and made awesome new memories.

We spent much time together out on the deck taking in the spectacular views and reminiscing. There were many tears shed, but more laughter shared.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful and memorable place with us.

Impressive and Luxurious Home with Breath Taking Views!

  • 5 of 5

This home is very impressive! I had no idea this home would be as amazing as it is! It is newly renovated with upgraded features. The bathrooms and kitchen are nice and spacious. The whole house had amazing views and is very nicely decorated. Three rooms have extremely comfortable King size beds and incredible views. The kitchen was fully equipped. The home is right on the bay and has a lot of space to hang out on the deck or by the fire pit. We stayed with 2 other families and all 12 of us were very comfortable. One family forgot some of their luggage and having a washer and dryer made all of the difference. We enjoyed the use of the 4 kayaks on site and where able to anchor our boat just past the low tide with no issues. The kids spent hours looking for shells during low tide and found a few sand dollars fully intact. The sunset is absolutely beautiful and the deck as plenty of room and lighting for those late night card games. The neighbors were all friendly and made you feel right at home. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to book next summer!

Perfect for a weekend getaway. House is comfortable and well stocked for a VRBO. We had a small company retreat and it was perfect.

Peaceful Stunning Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Our family was in town for my oldest son's wedding in Silverdale and had such a great time calling this wonderful house a home for 9 nights. The views are impressive to say the least whether outside on the large deck, covered patio or from inside the house through the wall of windows. We had 7 adults (ages 90, 85, 50, 49, 47, 20 & 18) and 1 child (14) who all fit comfortably in this large, well decorated, newly furnished house with 3 bedrooms having a king size bed each and plenty of extra room. The pictures on VBRO look exactly like the real thing, no "hotel pictures" here making it look one way and something different when you get there. Plenty of towels and fully equipped kitchen with everything you could ever need. We were even pleasantly surprised to see the refrigerator have the basics of ketchup, mustard, mayo etc. and the pantry with spices, salt, pepper, oil etc. Those items are always such a pain to go purchase everything for a short time. We made use of the washer and dryer which appeared to be pretty new. Lots of beach towels available as well. We enjoyed checking the tide every morning and evening as that's not something we experience in Chicago. We didn't get much use out of the kayaks or fire pit but only because we were so busy doing other things. We would have loved to stay longer just to simply send more time "hanging out" at the house. The neighbors were friendly and the 2 dogs as equally as friendly. Our 2 boys enjoyed their company almost every day when they came to say "Hello". We gave them a daily treat which they were more than happy to "sit" on command for. We had absolutely NO issues with them at all, they are VERY sweet dogs! We don't have any dogs so I feel that's a HUGE compliment as to how well mannered they are. We had several people over after the wedding rehearsal and still had plenty of room. We wanted to make sure we were not infringing on any parking spaces as the parking is limit so we just car pooled people from a near by grocery store, no problem at all! Reed was extremely responsive and we had no issues with him, hopefully he had none with us either. We simply did not have even close to the same experience as marc b. who posted a negative review. I lived in Silverdale/Bremerton more than 20 years ago and the "winter" weather is not my favorite but this house is so stunning, I could make it work! You won't be disappointed in this STUNNING, PEACEFUL Retreat! I could go on for days...

Beautiful home, with lots of amenities!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this property! It was everything we expected. Enough room for the 10 of us, with very comfortable beds, and lots of windows with fantastic views of the inlet waters. Enjoyed seeing the seals everyday, starfish at the water's edge when the tide was out, and perfectly gorgeous sunsets! Thanks for the use of your kayaks, and the fire pit. This home has beautiful interior appointments! You have great neighbors, and their garden was spectacular, and they invited us to wander through it anytime we wanted. Spoke with the owner, Reed Hadley on two occasions, and had easy access to him by email. He made me feel confident that we would find just what we wanted in this property, and WE DID!!

Amazing property with incredible views.

  • 5 of 5

The house is amazing and it sits on waterfront property with beautiful views of the mountains. It is a very peaceful place to spend time. I had some questions before booking the property, so I sent the host a message. Reed is an amazing host. He called me almost immediately. I found him to be very helpful, and accommodating. He even rescheduled some house maintenance to allow us to book the property for the days we needed. The neighbors are very helpful, they genuinely wanted our stay to be as pleasant as possible. We had a group of 9 extended family members staying in the house. We all had ample room and the kayaks were put to good use over the four days we stayed here. I have stayed in many great vacation rentals over the past decade, but this was my families favorite. We hope to return again to and stay in this great property. Do not believe negative reviews, YOU WANT TO STAY HERE!
