About Vacasa, WA - San Juans / Puget Sound Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Well located and great for families

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a three day stay and really enjoyed the house. It is very well located to the village with great bakeries, stores and cafes. The community center and skate board park are across the street and Saturday Market is a block away. The building toys and family friendly dvd's were enjoyed by our younger family members and the multi cook kitchen was great. We would recommend that the owner's repair the auto lighter on the cook top, or atleast replace the box of matches with a light stick. We will return. Ps The sunset is wonderful!

Very nice spot

  • 4 of 5

This is a well kept and comfortable place. We came to Lopez in June this year for a Board meeting of our small non-profit and having this home to base out of really made our weekend a pleasant and enjoyable one. The house is nicely outfitted and clean. The kitchen is very well stocked with plates, pots and pans and utensils. Beds are firm and come with a good set of bedding supplies. The house is very nicely situated in a central location near town where you can walk for groceries and supplies. Grounds are well maintained. A couple of possible upgrades that I would suggest is to switch out the shower heads (especially in the upstairs bathroom) as they don't provide a steady broad water spray. Secondly the WiFi either didn't work at all (most of the time) or when it did, it lacked much broadband width and strength. I understand that much of the island suffers from poor internet quality, but would only suggest that that be made clear to renters so that expectations for internet use are appropriately set before renters arrive or commit to the rental. Otherwise a great spot and highly recommended.

Beautiful Lopez Island

  • 5 of 5

For a long time I have thought that Teton National Park was the most beautiful place in the lower 48 states. I think the San Juan Islands rival the Teton's. We love the pace of Lopez Island and the people are very friendly. Sunset house was perfect for our family.

Large, clean house with a beautiful view!

  • 4 of 5

Large, clean house with a beautiful view! Our only issue was the extremely slow and unreliable wifi, but honestly, it kind of forced is to relax and unplug even more!
