River Bend Cottage is located on over a 1/2 acre with 100' of waterfront. It is on the upper Colorado River arm of Lake LBJ and is nestled under towering pecan trees providing abundant shade. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property (sleeps 8) with a full kitchen including a double oven and a laundry room with washer and dryer. It also has Dish Network, flat screen TV and wifi. The river makes a graceful bend around the property creating lake views from both sides of the cottage as well as the back. There is a boat ramp within 100 yards of the back porch. Great place for family vacation.

  • 5 of 5

This home was great. The kitchen was very well stocked, the whole house was really. Our whole family enjoyed this so much, and Scott was very nice and was only a text away. We rented his boat and my son caught some fish! Also, every evening ducks came up and my little boys loved feeding them. Great vacay!

Owner's Response: So glad you had a great time. I love the ducks. There are 3 and I named them Larry, Mo, and Curly.

Great location! Great house!

  • 5 of 5

Great lake rental - tons of fishing right off the dock, the house is close to the water and for a small additional cost, you can rent their pontoon boat!

Great location and well maintained

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time! This is a very well maintained and clean property. It was perfect for our family of four with plenty of rooms/beds for everyone to spread out. Loved the location on the river. It was quiet with occasional boat/jet ski turnaround traffic and just a short cruise into bigger open waters. Topper on the stay was the ability to rent the pontoon from the owner. Caught several small fish from the dock which the kids loved. HV Cafe (just down the street) had the best fried catfish we've ever eaten. It will definitely be on the list to visit again next year!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful location. The home is clean and very spacious for our family of 4. We spent a lot of time on the big back porch. I recommend boating down the river, the scenery is pretty and the water clear for swimming.

Comfortable...felt like we were at home.

  • 5 of 5

The home was well stocked for our stay. Comfortable furnishings very homey. Scott was very easy to talk to and communicated with us before, during and after our stay. We had 7 adults staying and never felt cramped.

The back yard, the pecan trees, the water...perfect. We enjoyed swimming right off the dock in the back yard and going out on the pontoon boat. The water was clean and calm.

Would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. :)

My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. The property has a great deck and felt very private - on a nice large lot. We would stay here again. Home has a nice open feel. Great view of water.
