Great place for family vacation.

  • 5 of 5

This home was great. The kitchen was very well stocked, the whole house was really. Our whole family enjoyed this so much, and Scott was very nice and was only a text away. We rented his boat and my son caught some fish! Also, every evening ducks came up and my little boys loved feeding them. Great vacay!

our third year to stay here. Very relaxing, clean.

  • 5 of 5

Scott the owner is very nice and stays in touch with you. This was our third year to stay here. You feel right at home. This year was vey much needed as we had to evacuate from our home in Rockport due to hurricane Harvey. This trip was planned before hand. We were so stressed and worried upon arrival and this place calmed us down right away. We actually did not want to leave and face what was ahead it was so peaceful. It is kept very clean and plenty of beds. Home away from home. I would defiantly recommend staying here.

Cool Little Lakehouse!!!

  • 5 of 5

I reviewed numerous lakehouses online for days before deciding on this one! So glad i chose had everything we needed and were looking for! It is only 2 bedrooms but has a sunroom on the back of the house with a daybed and trundle so it added all the sleeping space we needed! Our young adult kids loved sleeping out there also and waking up to the view of the lake!

In addition, we rented the pontoon boat and we could ALL go out on the lake together which was so FUN!!! We had such a great family weekend get-together here!

The house has everything you need too! He even has fans in the bedrooms which we use at home for the sound and air circulation which was so nice !

We setup yard games in the back by the fun!

We loved our stay and will hopefully be going back before too long!

Thank you Scott!

Great location! Great house!

Great lake rental - tons of fishing right off the dock, the house is close to the water and for a small additional cost, you can rent their pontoon boat!

Great location and well maintained

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time! This is a very well maintained and clean property. It was perfect for our family of four with plenty of rooms/beds for everyone to spread out. Loved the location on the river. It was quiet with occasional boat/jet ski turnaround traffic and just a short cruise into bigger open waters. Topper on the stay was the ability to rent the pontoon from the owner. Caught several small fish from the dock which the kids loved. HV Cafe (just down the street) had the best fried catfish we've ever eaten. It will definitely be on the list to visit again next year!

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful location. The home is clean and very spacious for our family of 4. We spent a lot of time on the big back porch. I recommend boating down the river, the scenery is pretty and the water clear for swimming.
