Guestbook comments from the manager

We enjoyed our stay very much. The snow was amazing! We were very comfortable there and the porch was THE BEST! The shower needs a shelf or something to put your soap and shampoo on and the windows in the sunroom didn't work properly and we were afraid they would break. Those are the only things wrong, very minor to say the least. We would definitely stay there again and I can't thank you enough for arranging it so that our "baby" could be with us. Thank you so much for adding to our Colorado experience with the perfect place to stay.

Perfect Location, Cute cabin along the river close to town!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The location was perfect, sat by the river in the afternoons and we loved hearing the river at night. Close distance to Estes Park downtown and Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin had everything we needed! I would have given 5 stars except the night before we departed, at 10pm the water turned off completely (a bit inconvenient not being able to flush toilet or have running water), we left early morning next day to catch a flight but disappointed we did not hear back when we emailed about the problem the night of. Other than this, we REALLY enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure! Thank you

The river

  • 4 of 5

The sound of the river makes it! When we first pulled up I was a little disappointed how close to the road it was. Inside is an usual layout but the living room is large. The upstairs beds are comfortable. Once we were settled in you get used to the layout. Then there's the river! Right on the river! This makes the place spectacular. We spent every night sitting around the fire right on the river. You never realize you so close to the road because the only thing you need at the front of the house is when you are pulling out of the drive. We opened all the windows and just relaxed at the soothing comforts of the flowing river. There is a screened in room in the back where we had all our meals. Convenient to Estes Park and RMNP. This place was great:)

Amazing!

  • 4 of 5

My 5 friends and I enjoyed this cabin so much! It had pretty much everything we needed and the deck view is breath taking. We drank our coffee and listened to the river every morning. It was a little difficult having one bathroom but we made the best of it. I was nervous when I saw how close we would be to the road, but we didn't hear a single car. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The arrangements went as planned. Pleased that there was no surprises.

The house was nice enough. It seemed fairly clean and pretty well maintained. The configuration was not as pleasing. The flow from inside to outside was awkward. The bathroom was definitely not convenient to the bedrooms. The bed in the lower bedroom is lousy. It is lumpy and squeaky. But overall, the place was decent and it served us well. We loved the beauty of the area. One suggestion would be for the living room/dining room lights to be on separate switches.
