Just in time to start enjoying our great deck & beautiful garden! Enjoy a glass of wine at sunset! Just minutes from downtown and our beautiful capitol city! So close to all the Willamette Valley has to offer!

Comfortable end unit condo with stairs is centrally located and the ideal home base for all your Willamette Valley adventures. Minutes from Downtown Salem for shopping, restaurants and more. Hikers & bikers will love Minto Brown Park or Peavy Arboretum. A quick drive to the historic towns of Independence and Monmouth for seasonal outdoor music in the parks plus eateries. An hour to the coast, the cascades or Portland. South Salem amenities of shopping and restaurants just moments away.

Downtown Salem has the beautiful capitol buildings and mall to visit. A variety of independent stores and shops and restaurants are all walking distance from the capitol. Historic Bush park is a gorgeous place to have a picnic! Stroll the rose garden or join the joggers you will see circling the park paths. Deepwood is right next door, also an historic home and garden. Mission Mill on Mill creek is worth a visit. Learn all about Pendleton Mills, visit the shops. Willamette University is nearby, as well as the Haley Ford Brown art museum.

For outdoor and nature enthusiasts, this area of the Willamette Valley has an abundance of opportunities. Minto Brown Park, located on River Road, is a 600 acre wildlife refuge with walking and bike paths and sits next to the river. Ankeny Bird Refuge has walking paths and different viewing stations for wildlife and is found out on S. Liberty. For kayakers, there is a spot to put in on the Willamette River on River Road S or if adventurous, put in at Buena Vista Ferry , stopping along the way at Rogue Brewery and come out in Independence. Just South of Monmouth on 99W is Peavy Arboretum, probably THE best place for mountain biking, jogging, hiking, walking in the area. This place is so big, there is always somewhere new to explore. Start at the Arboretum, take Calloway trail up to the lake where they have the logger teams training area. You try walking out over the water on a thin log and see how far you get! From the lake, Powder House trail takes you up to amazing views of Kings Valley.

No description would be complete without the mention of our wineries. I will leave it to you to discover which ones to try, just know, there are A LOT! If craft beer is your thing, you are in luck! The growler fill station is alive and well, as are breweries. The closest for a growler fill is Growl Movement on S Commercial. But most places with taps, such as Venti's, will fill the growler. So fill your glass and enjoy on your own private deck, watching the sunset and life is good!

About Marietta Beecroft

I have lived in Salem since 1991 and absolutely love this area! Whenever I go away, I find myself being just a bit more more appreciative of coming home at the end of each trip. When my husband, Bart, and I travel, we always stay in a privately held home or apartment, appreciating not only the economics of it, but also as part of the experience. By staying in a "home", we feel as if we are living in that specific environ, not just passing thru. When we plan our own excursions, I find myself searching these very same sites! I am excited now to be on the other side, sharing with you what I find exciting and fun about our neck of the woods and providing your "home". Thank you for considering this property. I will do my best to make your stay comfortable and easy so you can just relax and enjoy.

Why Marietta Beecroft chose Salem

My husband and I share the love of travel and adventure. With this property, I am trying to provide those very same elements we look for in a property when we rent on trips. I am making this a comfortable getaway, not only for you but also for us! I invested in this property in 2014. I love being in this condo; the natural light that floods inside, the garden and deck area. I really enjoy hanging out on the deck, tending the garden, figuring out how I am going to make that really cool looking wine barrel function as my rain catcher! It sure looks good, though! All the things we enjoy, I am trying to provide, as I hope you will appreciate them as well. Music, books, games, a good TV, a comfortable couch!!! And the location is fantastic! Salem has so much to offer in all directions and this property is well situated to enjoy them all. Enjoy your stay!

Super cute place, great location.

  • 5 of 5

The place was decorated so nicely, super comfortable, clean and cozy. So many nice touches and comforts of home by Molly. The neighborhood was quiet, and centrally located. Perfect for my husband and I and our daughter. Nice places to run closeby. Highly recommended!

Great little townhouse in Salem

  • 5 of 5

Everything was so clean and pretty. The location couldn't have been better for my needs and there was all the kitchen tools necessary to cook when I wanted to take a break from restaurants. Bed was super comfy and the townhouse was very tastefully decorated. Will definitely stay there again!

GREAT place for the price. You couldn't beat the space per cost at any local hotel.

  • 5 of 5

Very nice, clean, and homey. It was WAY better than trying to stay at a hotel, and we payed the price of a lower-ranked hotel. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat! It's also in a really nice area in south Salem.

Cute townhouse with much more space then a hotel room

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time. The condo was centerally located to everything we were doing. It took about 10 minutes to get anywhere we were going. It was clean and decorated nicely, just like the pictures. The kids loved exploring the back yard, which is a great use of space for being so small. The air conditioners were a great touch! It was hot this weekend and those kept the whole unit cool! We were all in bed by 9 every night and unlike what some other people mentioned, it was quiet. We all slept great!

Very clean, comfy, and cute place-stocked kitchen items

  • 5 of 5

My colleagues and I were very pleased to stay here. The place is very cute and clean! Everything felt pretty new, and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and glasses (unlike some other places I have stayed). We loved her back yard seating area and even had one sunny day to enjoy it. She even had an extra cot if you need more sleeping area. I could not believe how comfy it was (it had a mattress).

the check-in process was simple with the keybox. She even had a notebook full of information on the surrounding area. Nice touch. I would definitely stay here again.

South Salem has great amenities on S.Commercial and S.Liberty. The closest market is Roths Groceries on Liberty. Otherwise, head over to Commercial and find Lifesource, Natures choice and Trader Joes. Fred Meyer, Roths and Safeway for larger places. Venti's Taphouse, Acme Cafe Yumm, Panera, Los Arcos, Hacienda Real are all great places to grab a bite. Growl Movement for beer enthusiasts. Venti's has quite the tap list, also. (The other great growler fill place is Westside Tap in West Salem.) Northern Lights Theatre Pub is fun to go see a movie and have a meal while viewing, found at Browning and Commercial. On liberty just south of Madrona is a Mcmenamins Brew Pub. For casual fine dining in South Salem, try Acme Cafe or Roberts Crossing. The condo location is very close to River Road where Minto Brown Park is located, a 600 acre wildlife refuge with miles of walking/biking paths. Many meander along the river. Take Kuebler West to Croisan Scenic and that will end at River Rd. Hang a right and Minto is about 1/4 mile further. Note the Courthouse gym on your left, for you longer tenants, a great option for a gym. They have a pool, racquetball, weights, classes. Or from the condo go South on Skyline then right on Vitea Springs to River Rd, hang a left and quickly find yourself crossing the Willamette River into Independence and Monmouth area. There are wonderful scenic drives thru the rolling hills and farmland. A trip across the river on the Buena Vista Ferry is a must! But first stop at the Rogue brewery, try their latest, have a game of horseshoes. From the condo, Kuebler is a straight shot over to HWY5. So many fun things to do, the location of this condo is very convenient.
