3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house with lake view and walking distance to town
About Dawn Sevilla
When I was growing up my parents took us to Watkins Glen and we hiked through the gorge. I really enjoyed the waterfalls. Many years later my husband and I came back to celebrate a wedding anniversary. We walked through the gorge and it was as beautiful as I remembered it. After the gorge we stopped at Lakewood Vineyards and had our first ever wine tasting. That was about 15 years ago and we have been coming back ever since. We are always finding something new to do in the area. There are so many festivals and events that there are some we are still trying to find the time to attend.

Why Dawn Sevilla chose Watkins Glen
What we enjoy about the property we have is the location. We are not in the center of town but rather just on the edge of town. We have a lake and harbor view and are close enough to town to walk to restaurants and town events.

Experience the Glen
This home is a great base for exploring all Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes Region has to offer. Hiking in the area is beautiful and there are a number a varying degrees of difficulty trails/parks. The home is exactly as pictured and very close to town for shopping and dining. Dawn made the whole process very easy. We’ve stayed in a number of other homes in the Finger Lake Region and have found the perfect spot for our future visits.
Great location for NASCAR and wineries. Also walking distance to downtown restaurants.
Great place, location, and stay in Watkins Glen
Our family of 5 spent 4 nights and had a great time in the Finger lakes area. Very nice property that is just a 1-2 minute walk to the harbor and downtown area, and only a 10-15 minute walk to the State Park. Great views of the harbor and lake from the front porch. The 4 beds provided plenty of room for us and our 3 older children (ages 16-20). A second bathroom would have been nice, but we managed just fine and it was never an issue for us. There were plenty of towels, and there were games and puzzles for some evening relaxation. The kitchen looked to have been updated recently and was clean and modern, providing all the amenities needed for our stay. The house is air conditioned with ceiling fans throughout which kept us very comfortable. We only had 1 car and parked in front on the street, and (at least during our stay) there was plenty of parking available in the front.
WiFi worked fine. This really is a very nice place with a great location, and we'd definitely stay here again.
Great trip and a great location
Overall, we had a great stay at our VRBO! It was a short walking distance to the trails and downtown and was located right along the Seneca Lake wine trail. Could not have asked for a better location for our stay. Dawn was very accommodating, letting us check in early since traveling from out of town. Would absolutely stay here again!
From this cute small house you can free range the town and easily walk to the falls. The front porch was a great place to watch the sunset.
We had a great weekend staying in Watkins’s Glen! Perfect location! House was clean and well equipped! Wineries were close by and restaurants were within walking distance! Hiked in beautiful Watkins Glen Park!
Property is located at the southern end of Seneca Lake within walking distance of town with shops, restaurants and bars, theater, bank, post office, parks, harbor, marina, churches and Catharine Valley Trail. Nearest grocery store is within a mile.
Drive the short distance to Watkins Glen State Park lower entrance to hike through the gorge with its many beautiful waterfalls. The more energetic may want to add to the hike by walking the few blocks from the house to the park entrance. Drive to the upper entrance to swim in the Olympic sized swimming pool.
There is lake swimming at Clute Park, Watkins Glen or Smith Memorial Park, Hector.
Visit the many wineries in the area for tastings and make stops along the cheese trail.
Watch fireworks from the front porch over July 4th and during the Italian Festival. Race fans will enjoy Watkins Glen International race track.
Short trips from the house can include Corning Glass Museum or Arnot Mall. For those who enjoy the waterfall and hiking be sure to plan side trips to other state parks in the area including Taughannock Falls, Buttermilk Falls and Letchworth State Park.
