Amazing green built home a half mile walk from downtown Asheville

Come enjoy my home and this fabulous town. I'll happily offer advice on things to do and places to go if you'd like. Just don't bring the party home with you - the house is in a cool neighborhood and respecting the neighbors is important to me.

Amazing home with long range views of the mountains and downtown. I personally built this home in 2014, with an emphasis on arts and crafts and a focus on interior contemporary design. This 1200 square foot home takes advantage of an open floor plan on all three levels and high vaulted ceilings, giving the home a very spacious feeling.

Beautiful modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a gas range. Though the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal, we find most of our guests enjoy sampling all of the amazing food Asheville has to offer!

There is a very comfortable Queen bed in the upstairs loft as well as a sofa bed in the same room (also on the top floor in the open space - appropriate for a kid or two) and a sofa couch on the bottom level. Both the upstairs loft/bedroom and downstairs bedroom have a private bathroom and television with apple tv (similar to netflix).

My neighborhood is low-key and family-friendly. Great neighbors who appreciate respectful guests!

Top floor: Lofted bedroom- no door but visually private from each floor.

Middle floor: Kitchen and lounge area with extra half bath/ access to deck and small yard

*Please note this home is three levels, accessed by stairs. The driveway can fit two cars, there is also on street parking if needed for additional vehicles.

Nice New Construction

The condo is great, but I do have to warn it might not be good for light sleepers. During our stay, the neighbor's wind chimes kept us up most of the night during a bad wind storm. Even the first night without the storm, the chimes were very distracting for travelers sleeping in a strange place. In addition, there is a lack of window coverings. While the mountain views are certainly beautiful, it makes for early mornings, and on the lower level, could raise some privacy concerns. I also wonder if having something on the windows could help dampen the noise from neighbors. Overall we had a great trip and appreciated the hospitality, but if you are a light sleeper, it is worth understanding if the owner has addressed this feedback before booking.

Perfect Home Walking Distance From What Matters

Our entire experience was seamless. The home feels brand new with an efficient use of space and a fully equipped kitchen. There are coffee shops, quality restaurants, and grocery stores (Trader Joes!) all within a 10-15 minute walk in the event that you don't want to drive.

Craig's attention to detail made all the difference. I liked the bluetooth speaker and Amazon Echo (although prefer Google Home :) for our use.

I highly recommend this home to groups/families traveling to Asheville that are looking for modern living in the city center.

This house is a gem. It is very comfortable with great beds and beautiful views. It is only a 15 minute to downtown. Craig meets you at the house to get you acquainted with everything. This is a great Asheville house
