3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin with spectacular great room

Note since last year, we have added a water softener, a washer dryer, and we are now supplying sheetes and towels. 3/4 mile walk to central Ephraim; immediately adjacent to peninsula park, 150 foot walk to our private beach. this authentic log cabin built in 1879 has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a modern kitchen and dining area, and a spectacular cathedral ceilinged great room with a floor to ceiling fire place. also, a large screened patio overlooking our expansive front yard. 2 of the bedrooms have queen beds, and the 3rd has 2 twin beds.

This log home was terrific!

This home exceeded our expectations. Lots of spaces to get away and read--hammock, screen porch, great room, sitting area off the dining area, down by the lake. We loved the screened porch. The modern amenities (room air conditioners, Keurig, washer and dryer, reliable wi-fi) did not detract from the rustic charm of the log home. We were able to bike to Ephraim stores, restaurants, and marina. The home shares lake access with a handful of other cabins; there is a common dock and picnic area. You cannot see the water from the log home but it is a short walk (block) to the water. The swimming was wonderful.

A Door County Gem

My husband and I live in the Caribbean on the island of St. John. We decided to take a few night getaway back to Door County and found this lovely home to rent. It's nestled in the woods, with scenic views from every room including the lake. Huge great room with working fireplace, comfy furniture, plenty of areas to dine. Even a cute desk to get some of our business online done. The pictures don't do it justice, it was so great to walk in and have it be what we hoped. We felt it was private and secluded enough but close to downtown Ephraim and Fish Creek. Tons of great restaurants. Kitchen had all we needed. Great trip, went to a couple of the spas in the area, overall just a great trip, feel refreshed and ready to get back to work. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
