Bob purchased this cottage in 2004
This property is in a great location, has a practical, and efficient layout that I helped to create in a 2004 renovation when I purchased it. Now that my kids are off to college, I no longer need the space full time, and this medium of rental fits my life nicely. It is my hope people from all over can enjoy this wonderful area in a warm comfortable atmosphere as I have with my family.
My home offers a peaceful space far out enough, yet anywhere in no time. The neighborhood is full of kind friendly people that wave and greet each other warmly, look out for one another family, and mind to themselves. The home is also set aside my own private 25 acre apple orchard with 2 ponds down below for fishing, kayaking, or just skipping rocks. A healthy walk to the top you will find majestic views of the full Shawangunk mountain range to the Catskills, and the sleepy old post card town I call home. Here in season you can also pick the best apples mother nature will provide.
House exactly as described. Owner was easy to deal with. Highly recommend.
Close to all amenities...Bob was very easy to work with.
The home was very clean and had everything we needed to cook. We brought my two children and they had a great experience as well running all around the back yard.
Just what we were looking for. Super clean with space for my husband and I and our 4 kids. We were looking for something close to Poughkeepsie with space for the kids to run around a bit. This place was great. The kids loved running around in the yard.
We were visiting our daughter for family weekend at Marist and wanted to take our two dogs with us. We've visited the area many times but always stayed in a hotel on the other side of the river but this year tried something different. The house is in a charming area in apple country and had a very cute layout. It was big enough for our family to relax and spend time together. Bob the owner is very prompt with his replies and answers all questions and concerns within a timely manner and very graciously allowed us a little later checkout as we had an event at the school that we could not take our dogs to. A very pleasant stay! Thanks Bob!!
