John and I (Tonya) are both from Michigan. We have a shared love of both traveling and building. We have traveled extensively through the years and been able to show our children a large part of the world. We have raised 5 children together and with such a large family we took advantage of some very beautiful homes for vacations over the years. VRBO has been a wonderful website that we have trusted through the years with our family plans. We moved to Texas and are currently building homes and raising our children in the DFW area. This is our first full remodel and are very proud of it. We are enjoying traveling and building more homes while our children graduate High School and College
Tonya Bradley purchased this house in 2014
We love Grapevine, Tx and it has been our dream to start a few VRBOs in the area so others can enjoy all that Grapevine has to offer. This is our 2nd home with VRBO and enjoyed all the success a good vacation rental has to offer. Our first home was in Northern Michigan. We have fallen in love with all Grapevine and the Main Street Area. The old fashion feel, the safe streets for strolling and window shopping while stopping by for a glass of wine on the street from some of the local wineries, the charming vibe, the full calendar of events, the warm welcoming people, and all of the shopping, restaurants and winery's!
This is a 1945 Historic Grapevine home. We have completely remodeled it changing everything but keeping the Historic guidelines and charm. It was a challenge trying to keep the "old" vintage charm and character but updating with all the "modern" technology and feel. This home has a new AC, heater, TV's (3), bathroom with a rain shower head, brand new microwave, oven, sink, gas top stove, stackable washer and dryer, new tile, windows, everything except the original hardwood floor and vintage small town outside look!
It was the perfect weekend getaway for our family of 4. Our 2 sons loved the open concept and slept wonderfully in their room. We had all the accommodations/amenities of a 4 Star hotel (plus some!) The remodel of the house was expertly completed. And location, location, location - we were steps from Main Street and ~ 5 minutes from Gaylord Resort/Great Wolf Lodge. We will definitely be back!!!
This was our 1st stay in Grapevine, we had stayed in the Ft. Worth area previously. This was the most comfortable home we have ever stayed in on vacation. Great home, great location and a great hostess. We will definately be staying here again when we are in town to visit family.
Church street cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway! My husband and I live in the Metroplex and enjoy trying out new hotels when we are lucky enough to break away for a night or two. This time we decided to check homeaway/VRBO, as we've used them for our beach vacation homes in the past, and I'm glad we did! Church Street cottage did not disappoint!
The house was renovated beautifully and is very well maintained. We were greeted with fresh flowers, a bottle of wine and a note from Tonya - who was a pleasure to work with. The wine bar with several wine selections operated on the honor system was the prefect touch at the end of the night. So many of lovely details you'll usually find in higher end hotel/resort, without all the hassles and much more private.
The location is perfect for walking to plenty of yummy food and good fun. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!!
The house was fantastic, and directly located next to the venue for the event my team and I were attending. It was clean and well stocked, the beds were comfortable and Tonya a great host. We look forward to renting it again next year!
What a great little cottage and what a beautiful job you have done on remodeling it. If you are looking for a warm, cozy and incredibly comfortable home to take a vacation in, look no further!
We enjoyed every minute of our trip! The time in the town of Grapevine which is quaint and friendly was fantastic and we can't say enough about your home. We felt so comfortable in your beautiful home. Thank you for making us feel so at home with all the nice little touches. We would love to visit again!
My team and I were in town for a week-long event. The cottage was not only in a perfect area close to everything we needed, it is immaculate and as beautiful as the pictures showed. We were within walking distance of many amazing restaurants as well as the local CrossFit box which was helpful for me as a training athlete. The area was quiet and peaceful all times of the day. I was very impressed with the personal touches, including a welcome bouquet of roses and a bottle of wine.
Thank you, Tanya, for your hospitality!
