About Clint and Beth
Flashback to 2002: Clint, a bartender at the former Crossing (may it rest in peace), offers a free beer to a young college coed (Beth).... and the rest, as they say, is history. Flash forward to November '13 when these two crazy kids decide to fuel their love of all things KU/Lawrence by purchasing and renovating a turn of the century house in historic East Lawrence.
Clint and Beth purchased this House in 2013
Why Clint and Beth chose East Lawrence
The listing agent said people were calling it a tear down, but we saw a diamond in the rough. Situated just steps from South Park, the brick-lined street with old limestone curbs embodies some of the many great things about Lawrence. A few floor-plan readjustments and a whole lot of work, and this house is here to please for the next hundred years!
What makes this House unique
Great location, fully remodeled, historic old-house that embodies Lawrence charm.

Very nice and charming
My opinion- Sleeps 6--couch is not usable for sleeping. Had a great time. Everyone was happy.
Great location; 1 block from South Park and minutes from Mass Street. No cable, so if you don't have NetFlex be sure to bring your cable login info. The island in the kitchen is handy for cooking, but there is no place to sit with your knees under a table. Don't worry you'll get used to it.

House accommodated our group very well. We were pleased with the house.
Our stay was very comfortable. We were close to an amazing park so we could take our dogs on long walks. All the comforts of home & great tacos within walking distance. If we ever need to return to this area we’d rent this house again!
Cute & Comfortable
Great house! Very comfortable for hanging out at night and beds were comfortable as well. Nice and clean.
The location of this house is great - right next to South Park and so close to downtown. The house was clean and has some really nice features, like beautiful hardwood floors, comfortable bedrooms, a porch swing, and nice bathrooms. The kitchen could use some updates, but we didn’t cook much, so it wasn’t an issue for us. There were a couple of maintenance issues (burnt out and missing lightbulbs and flickering lights when appliances kicked on), but Beth ordered more lightbulbs and is looking into the flickering lights. If you or your guests have limited mobility, be aware that there are steps down into the first floor bedrooms and a steep and turning staircase to the master suite upstairs. Beth was very responsive during our stay and we enjoyed our visit!
