Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for our wonderful stay. Everything was very clean. We had plenty of clean towels for the week. The extra pillows were a nice touch too. We were so happy to find the coffee that you provided because we forgot ours. The weather was mild so we enjoyed the deck and grill. Thank you for being there when we got lost on the wine trail. We will be back again.

Great place for group or family

  • 5 of 5

Very roomy. the bath towels were like you would find at a nice hotel. Only downside was only one bathroom for the five of us. A half bath would be a nice addition. Overall a great value. With a great view. Perfect place for a group of friends on the wine trail.

Very clean and well maintained

Clean, comfortable

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I stayed for a weekend recently and enjoyed our time away from home. Kitchen is adequately supplied with cookware and utensils. Linens and towels were better than many hotels we've stayed in, so that was a wonderful surprise! Basic mini toiletries were included, so that was an unexpected amenity. Shower was great, and it was nice having a double vanity. The living room furniture had been changed out since the featured photos, and the dual reclining sofa was a nice addition. Seems like for a larger party, however, there might not be as much comfortable seating in this area as expected. Very clean!! The photos are pretty true representatives of the property, with the view from the back deck even better in person. However, the hot tub is in a sun room that faces the road (which you can't tell from the photos), which lacks privacy in the evenings especially (unless you want to stumble around in the dark). Another thing you can't tell from the photos is how close the neighbors are. From the back deck, you can see the next house over's back yard and deck, as well. Not a big deal, but thought I might mention in case you were expecting something more secluded. We actually never saw the neighbors, so may not be a big deal anyway, but again, just thought it should be mentioned. The only slight negative we found at this property were the shades (none of them are particularly room darkening, as we are used to black out curtains at home). Small Town with dining options is just a short trip down the road, and bigger stores, state park areas and more are all within a reasonably short drive.

Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Great place, great location

This place was amazing. Clean and beautiful. The hot tub is a wonderful thing after a day hiking and wineries. Second year in a row, my wife and I went for our anniversary. We plan on coming back again soon.
