Come and make amazing memories here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast while staying in this beautiful Legacy Tower Condo.
Unit 602 is located in the west tower on the 6th floor. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and great views of the Gulf of Mexico from the large picture windows. There is a spacious living room with a new leather sleeper sofa and love seat, a large flat screen TV with built-in DVD player and remote control. Step out the sliding glass doors that take you onto the balcony where you can catch the ocean breezes while enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktails as the sun is setting. The kitchen, with its beautiful oak cabinets and granite counter tops, is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and entertain during your stay. The dining table has can seat 6 people. The large master bedroom has its own balcony access and impressive beach views. Also there is a huge master bathroom complete with 2 sinks, a large soaking bathtub, stand-up shower, walk-in closet, and water closet. The Guest room offers a queen sized bed, dresser, and flat screen TV. It also has an adjoining full bathroom. Should you need to do laundry while you are staying here, there is a fully equipped laundry closet too. Feel at ease staying at Legacy, a gated community monitored by its own security.
Located in the center of the MS Gulf Coast beachfront, your Legacy vacation offers more than gorgeous white sand beaches. When you're not sunbathing in the sand or at one of the beautiful pools, you will want to check out some of our local favor.
Beach and Water Activities
*Some of the Water Sports include: deep sea fishing, sailing a Hobie cat, and jet ski rentals.
*Gulf Island Water Park - wave pool, endless slides, lazy river
*Beachside Boardwalk - Walk or bike on over 20 miles of concrete boardwalk and sidewalks beachside.
*Spend a half day or full day on one of our 6 barrier Islands. Ship Island, part of the Gulf National Seashore Parks, is accessible by ferry leaving daily from the Gulfport Harbor. Dolphins lead the trip to the island. Once there you can step back in time to the Spanish American war and tour Fort Massachusetts. Sunbathe, swim and search for sand dollars. Or take a long walk and find a quiet spot to relax on shore or just float around in the water. It's well worth the trip.
The MS coast offers over 25 courses for every level of player. The Great Southern Golf Course is just 100 yards from The Legacy.
Heritage and Cultural
Art galleries and museums are plentiful here on the coast. Some of the more popular ones are: the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art, The Beauvoir, Jefferson Davis’s summer home and civil war museum in Biloxi, and the Walter Anderson Museum of Art in Ocean Springs.
MS Gulf Coast offers local performing arts like the Gulf Coast Symphony and the Biloxi Little Theatre. Every Memorial Day the Gulf Coast Symphony offers a free outdoor concert and fireworks at Jones Park in Gulfport. Bring your blanket, find a spot and enjoy.
At Legacy, you are within a mile of the Edgewater Mall with stores like Dillard's, American Eagle, and Books-A-Million. The Prime Outlet Mall, just about 15 minutes from the Legacy, has great shops like J Crew, Talbot, Coach, Michael Kors just to name a few.
Scenic downtown areas in Gulfport, Biloxi, Ocean Springs, Pass Christian and Bay St. Louis are dotted with boutiques, gift and antique shops, art galleries, pastry and candy shops, and restaurants with patio dining. If you are looking for something different and unique, head for the downtown areas. You'll also find a hip nightlife with local musical talent.
Speaking of nightlife, if you head 5 miles east or west you will end up at one of our many waterfront casinos. Even if you are not one who likes to gamble, you can certainly take advantage of all the other exciting things happening at the Casino hotels. There are Vegas-style pool parties, top notch restaurants and buffets, live music and entertainment, and lush spas in which to pamper yourself. Open 24 hours a day, the fun never has to end.
Year round special events and happenings:
With so much to offer, it's hard to run out of things to do. There are year round special events and happenings. Two of my favorites are the Peter Anderson Festival and Cruisin' the Coast. The Peter Anderson Festival is a weekend art event with 100's of local and regional artist and over a 100,000 visitors. Every year the Gulf Coast hosts the Cruisin' the Coast, a classic car week, has over 7000+ registered classic cars and enthusiasts that happens every October.
