About the property

2 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 4

This wonderfully located private cottage is secluded, but close to beaches, kayak rentals, surfing lessons and shopping. It is perfect for a two couples or a small family.

A walk of less than 1/4 mile to Kelly Beach, this house has a beautiful view of the Wesquage salt pond, as well as truly spectacular views of Bonnet Shores, Jamestown, Beavertail and Dutch Island Lights, and the Pell and Jamestown bridges. It is a romantic setting at night with the Pell Bridge and Bonnet Shores lights, as well as billions of stars.

The cottage has 880 sq ft of living area, with two bedrooms on the second floor, and, on the first floor, a newly remodeled kitchen with dishwasher, eating area, and living space.

The nearby area is ideal for walking, biking or swimming. It is a short drive to Narragansett Beach & Pier, beautiful bike paths, historic Wakefield shops, charming Wickford Village, as well as Jamestown, Newport and the ferries to Block Island and Martha's Vineyard.

The cottage is available for rent by the week, month or the entire summer season.

Wonderful location and beautiful views!

  • 4 of 5

Judy and Peter were great hosts. They made sure we were comfortable and were readily available if we needed anything. The upper deck was perfection... we utilized it several times a day! The walk to the beach was also a treat - a little tough with a baby to navigate but so much easier than packing up the car. The house was just what we needed for the week. We comfortably fit 4 adults and an infant. Located near shops and restaurants. Having a kitchen and washer/dryer made life much easier. Overall, we were pleased with our stay!

Solid good for the soul...

  • 5 of 5

The sound of pounding surf to lull you asleep, a two hundred seventy degree panoramic view of the ocean to wake up to, and a lazy set of steps to meander down to the cottage's own private beach with a cup of coffee to plan your day of fun make this two-bedroom cottage our first choice for our traditional stays in Narragansett . . . Its the creature comforts that make this 'cottage' a home in every sense of the term. Amply bright due to banks of south-facing windows, the gourmet kitchen, the private barbecue area, convenience to shopping and fine dinning, and the brand new laundry equipment -- all of these features combine with close proximity to Providence, Boston and New York City to make this a wonderful place to call "home away from home." Owners Judith and Peter are the best!

Whether sunning on the enormous sundeck accessible from the cottage's second floor, or hooking striped bass from the cottage's private beach, every stay here has proven memorable and solidly good for the soul.
