Absolutely wonderful home! My family and I enjoyed a week stay and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation home! Our host Bernadette was very gracious and hospitable, we thank you so very much for sharing your home with us! We would highly recommend this vacation home to family or friends!
The Barnett Family
Fit our needs perfectly!
Had everything we needed for our family of 5. We need a place to stay for 9 days while the construction of our house was completed. House was clean and neighborhood was nice and quiet. Interstate access was also a huge plus. Property owner was very responsive. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a short or long stay!
A beautiful area,lots to do
A lovely house and well kept garden
i would recommend staying at a place like this instead of a hotel the owners were very nice also
Bernadette’s home was a perfect place for me and my husband, and my niece and her fiancé, to stay while visiting family the week before Thanksgiving. There was plenty of space for us all and having a full kitchen for preparing meals and our Thanksgiving dishes was so convenient! This home sits on a small lake which has heron, turtles, variety of birds and perhaps an alligator! It was peaceful in the community and was situated in the community where my husband and I could take walks in the morning, having sidewalks the entire time. I will definitely rent this house again next time we are in FL, if it is available, and recommend this rental to those looking for something in this area.
Just got statement from insurance company. The owner submitted defects that existed before we got there. For example, the paver near the front door were loose. They didn't get more damaged while we were there.
There was no damage to the shower door. I used it every day; yet they submitted a claim.
Unfortunately, this was the worse rental experience I ever encountered. Upon the renters’ departure, the housekeeper called me to say she had never seen our home in such disrepair and uncleanliness. The housekeeper took photos throughout the home showing how the renters disrespected our property. The housekeeping bill to get the house back in order and the extra time and labor to wash and dry all the bed linens and towels that the renters did not tend to was $271. I charge each renter $150 for this service. I did not make these renters pay the overage amount that I paid out of my pocket. I will not rent to them again.
The renter’s statement regarding insurance claims is not accurate. The renter sent me an email indicating: “There is a loose brick on the entry. You might want to look at that some time.” The loose brick had not been brought to my attention by previous renters or observed by the homeowners or housekeeper, thus the renter’s issue regarding the loose brick was addressed, repaired and the claim was submitted to the insurance company. I did not submit a damage claim for a shower door repair. Instead, a claim was submitted for $12 for a new shower curtain liner in the guest bath because housekeeping identified a large hole in the liner when cleaning upon the renters’ departure.
