And is conveniently within walking distance to the beach (2 blocks away from the old East Deck beach entrance) so you can leave all the parking drama behind. The interior of the house is pleasantly sun-filled, each room is decorated with contemporary decor & furnishings. Spend all your days surfing, sunning & playing in the best waves on the East Coast, then after the beach, enjoy an outdoor shower, grab a cold drink & start grilling dinner on the BBQ. Explore all the sites, shorelines, parks, many fantastic restaurants & all the popular attractions Montauk has to offer!

We custom built (& designed) our home in 2005 & we've rented every summer since (taking a few years off when our son was born) -- so we are well versed in handling your rental needs. With all the comforts of home & thisclose to beautiful Ditch Plains beach - you are sure to relax!

About Alexandra

Back when we were looking for a weekend house, we fell for Montauk & decided this is where it should be. We were shown this parcel of land for sale. We loved it because of it's close proximity to the beach, but nestled off a bit from the crowds. For my husband, who spent his childhood summers growing up on Martha's Vineyard, we wanted a place where we could walk (not have to drive) to the beach everyday. Once we bought the land, we looked forward to building right away, but the land came with building & zoning restrictions. It took three long, tough years before we received all our needed permits to even start building (which took almost another year). But we were lucky enough to do a custom build & personally designed every square inch of the house. The location is truly spectacular. But the home itself (& in recent years the garden) is so special to us. It brings our family a great deal of joy... an often needed respite from all the hustle and bustle of city life.

Alexandra purchased this house in 2003

Why Alexandra chose Hamptons

Montauk is distinctive; unlike any other area in the Hamptons. With beautiful, unspoiled beaches, it's raw beauty, hiking trails and land preservation make it feel 'untouched' even now. It's a vacation destination for families, fishermen, surf casters and nature lovers. It's surrounded by water and has that " island" feel but without a ferry schedule!

What makes this house unique

The interior has an open flow, tons of light (4 skylights) plus cross breezes throughout the whole house, it makes for really good energy -- the ocean waves lull you to sleep every night. Working within a small amount of sq. footage, we kept the interior open & light. The house has: central AC, outdoor shower, washer & dryer, hot water on demand, solar panels.

We make sure our summer tenants feel at home! You lease from (us) the homeowners directly & not some far away management company. We've enjoyed renting our home for years & can ensure you of our impeccable summer rental history. We've renovated bathrooms, upgraded appliances, added landscaping, new paint, new decor, etc & we continue to make upgrades when needed because we like everything to be up-to-date & fresh.

I can not say enough about this house...from the owners being so accomadating to the tasteful and comfy decor of the house, made our week in Montauk unforgettable. Loved our stay!

Every single thing about our vacation rental was perfect. Communication with the owners was awesome, as they were always easy to get a hold of and so helpful and accommodating. Check-in was a breeze and upon walking in we realized that the beautiful pictures we saw online didn't even do the house justice. Everything about the house was perfect... a super clean, beachy house that's more spacious than we had anticipated. Our son loved staying here. The kind owners really made it so easy to bring youngsters along on this week long vacation. It truly was the perfect family getaway, thanks to this beautiful house and the awesome owners. The house is perfectly situated, just a walk from Ditch Plains beach, and had everything we needed for an awesome vacation. We will definitely be back and are already planning next year's visit!

Perfect Montauk Vacation

This was the perfect vacation for my family. We felt as if we were at home, not just a rental. We felt welcome by the owner right from the start, and they were always available and willing to help in any way they could. The home was beautiful, kitchen and bathrooms all updated and immaculate. Beds and linens were all just as beautiful and comfortable. The location was perfect, quiet and just a few minute walk to a great beach. Would highly recommend it.

Montauk Gem at Ditch

Great house and great location. Owners were amazing to work with. Have been going to Montauk for 30 years and this is a hidden gem in Ditch!!! The house was very clean and accommodated my family of 5 easily. The house had everything that we needed.
