About Steve or Leora Knutson

We are long time residents of the mountains of Arizona and have raised our two sons here. They grew up enjoying the outdoors, the variety of Arizona's climates, and the year-round recreational opportunities the various climates offer. We are looking forward to retiring, spending summers in the cool mountains, and the winters in the warm desert.

Nice house in a great Tucson neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed the neighborhood with daily walks. Well kept southwest homes with great natural landscaping. We especially enjoyed the large glass master bath. Everything worked and the furnishings were comfortable. Home was well stocked with essentials for quickly setting up house. Patio and back yard was nice and the grocery stores and good restaurants are within a few minutes driving. Location near the U is central to getting out of town in all directions. Traffic on major streets can be intense during rush hours. We enjoyed our time in Tucson largely because the house suited us and the weather was quintessential Arizona spring.

Terrific

  • 5 of 5

We rented Steve's place because my Mom , brother and wife, and sister were coming to town for a wedding. The home could not have worked out better! Each had their own bedroom and bath ( including the showcase master bath .. pictures don't do it justice ). The neighborhood was safe and quiet and the back patio a retreat from the busy wedding schedule.

The home was super clean, and stocked with provisions. Steve was easy to work with and the price was very reasonable.

As a Vrbo owner myself.... thumbs up!

Peace and Quiet, Birds Galore and Plenty of Room

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful older home in the great Sam Hughes Neighborhood--which translates to large properties, individually designed homes and great gardens to view as you walk around. Not 5 blocks away is Rincon Market where you can eat Good Food for very cheap, along with another tiny restaurant "Tumerico" where the food is fresh, tasty and cheap and the menu changes daily--kudos to the owner Nancy. The house is very roomy and has a wonderful backyard to relax in. I loved that there were no leather couches--real cloth couches-very comfortable. The beds were very comfy too. Lots of light due to many windows. There was nothing I needed in the way of supplies that I couldn't find. Plenty of everything. The master bath is unusual to say the least but loved showering in the near outdoors!

Very good

  • 5 of 5

Our lab group was visiting the University of Arizona and this three bedroom and three bathroom house in a quiet neighborhood served as a perfect home base for our week long stay. The house was clean, well-maintained, organized, and had clear check-in/check-out procedures written up. A few places to eat are walking distance but advisable to have a car or plan to use Uber or Lyft to get around to all the amazing places to dine and see (we went to desert one evening to see meteor shower). One day of our stay the hot water went out, but the owners quickly got it fixed the same day. Highly recommend - I would stay here again.

The property description & pictures are accurate

  • 4 of 5

The house is very nice, comfortable, and spacious. The neighborhood and location are the best!

The owner was very responsive to my needs. I rented the house for a month and he was kind enough to send in his cleaning staff twice while I was there.

The back garden and patio were very nice and private.
