About Jack & Lorraine, Matt & Kristi
Jack & Lorraine, Matt & Kristi currently live in the Cleveland Ohio area. We spend most of our summers on an island in Lake Erie known as Put In Bay. We enjoy fishing, boating, biking, some of the best musical entertainment, and don't forget "happy hours". The winters in Ohio prove to be more frigid than we can tolerate, so this is when we pack our bags and head south to Key West.
Jack & Lorraine, Matt & Kristi purchased this House in 2015
Why Jack & Lorraine, Matt & Kristi chose Old Town
We chose the Old Town Eyebrow because it is one of the coolest homes in Key West. The six vibrant colors on the outside along with the historic architecture made us want to move in right away. The new renovations to this 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms home located in the heart of Old Town made our decision easy. Located just 1.5 blocks from Duval Street, we can walk to all of the attractions that Key West has to offer with no need to spend extra money for a cab ride, or tire ourselves out pedaling our bicycles just to get downtown. Walking into this home, it was clear to see that this was a piece of Key West that we could call our own.
What makes this House unique
This Old Town Eyebrow is unique due to it's architecture. Being one of only about 100 Eyebrow style homes on the island, this style of home is only found in Key West. The six vibrant colors on the outside of this home could only be the work of a true artist. Floor to ceiling Dade County pine walls on the inside are a stunning feature of this home. The custom built split staircase off the living room leads to each of the two second level master suites. The home is neighbor to the Key West Lighthouse witch offers excellent views from the deck or balcony. Enjoy the views over a cup of your morning coffee.

Absolutely Beautiful Home
We spent some time in KW and could not have found a better place to stay. The location is great, right near the lighthouse and within walking distance to just about everywhere. The interior was amazing with all the wood and updates. We enjoyed great dinners on the patio. We were amazed how people would stop and take pictures as we sat outside. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is traveling to Key West.
Plenty of Space...Great Location...Fantastic Kitchen
This is a star home in Key West with beautiful lighting inside and outside...We watched as Passerby's would take photos of this attractive home. It is located within walking distance of Duval Street and all its luster, but far enough to live in comfort and peace. The Kitchen is very large and has all the amenities of home and quiet appliances. There is plenty of space to live comfortably with beautiful bathrooms. Some interesting history I learned is the interior wood was taken from the 200 year old Dade County Wood from its own exterior when it was remodeled. Great history, beautiful home and highly recommended.
When we visit Key West we enjoy the sights and sounds of Duval Street. We visit Sloppy Joe's and Willie T's for the incredible live music scene. Just off Duval visit Captain Tony's and Schooner Wharf for some local culture.
Earnest Hemmingway's home is less than a block away. Tour his beautiful home and hear about his adventures in Key West. Want to know more about the Key West Island history? We recommend taking a Conch Train Tour to acquaint yourself with our favorite island.
If you are up for some water adventures, we would recommend Catamaran Echo, located in the Garrison Bite Marina. A sailboat ride to the dolphin playground followed by a snorkeling adventure is sure to make for a day of lasting memories. Tell Tom you're staying with us!
A stop at Mallory Square is required for the nightly sunset celebration and entertainment of the local performers. You have a short walk to participate in one of Key West's local traditions.
Enjoy a day shelling or relaxing on the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor, just a short walk down the road.
With so much to do, so close to home, you may find yourself extending your stay!
