Fantastic location, which is really hard to beat. Very close to everything you could ever want in downtown Victoria. The suite is on the 11th floor, facing south east, so gets lots of morning sun and has great views to the south, east and the west.

The building in which it is located is well maintained and is concrete and steel construction, so noise is minimized.

Other residents of this building are friendly and welcoming, there's a fitness facility and an amenity room with a pool table.

What makes this condo unique

Wonderful views of Beacon Hill Park and a sunny, east facing balcony for enjoying morning coffee, makes this a very desirable vacation rental property.

Well furnished and equipped and decorated with an "oceanside" theme, it is a perfect place to stay for 2-4 people.

Excellent Apartment!

We stayed at the apartment for ten nights in July 2017. The location of the apartment is excellent; near to the Inner Harbor and all that it has to offer. There are restaurants, shops, etc all within easy walking distance. The Bartholomew Pub is right next door and has an excellent lunch special Monday-Friday for $7. Rod and Melissa did an excellent job in insuring that everything was arranged before our arrival. Melissa met us at the apartment and showed us exactly how everything worked, and how to gain access to the building and parking garage with the security key. We highly recommend this apartment.

Great location. Lovely suit. Perfect for a couple.

Exactly as advertised

A very nice property in a great location, just three or four blocks from the center of everything. All harbor and downtown attractions are in easy walking distance. (We're a mid-fifties couple who came to Victoria as tourists.) The unit was spotless on arrival. The hosts provided milk and fruit and bread and cereal to give us time to get to the grocery store. The kitchen had every gadget and utensil we looked for. In our week there, we heard no noise from the other units in the building--not even plumbing. You will hear street noise in this property, but closing the windows eliminates most of it. If/when we go back to Victoria, we'll try to rent from these hosts again.

Clean and comfortable, excellent downtown location

Building is in very good condition, common areas kept very clean and tidy. Unit was well equipped for a short term stay. Furnishings and bedding very comfortable.

Traffic noise can be an issue until you get used to it. Internet was great, TV availability could be expanded beyond very basic channels plus Netflix. Melissa and Rod were excellent to deal with, very accommodating and professional.

Overall a pleasant way to enjoy downtown Victoria.

Awesome!

We have been staying at the Southside since April. There is not a better location in Victoria for quick access to parks, restaurants, shopping and the Inner Harbour. The suite is beautifully stocked and very comfortable with fantastic views to the mountains and ocean. I would highly recommend it! Great for all vacationers, including Fido! A beautiful, well secured building with great property managers! Thanks Rod & Melissa.

Beacon Hill Park is just a short 5 minute walk, Victoria's world famous Inner Harbour is only 2 blocks away, the BC Legislative buildings are 5 minutes walk, the Royal BC Museum is just under 5 minutes walk away. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, pubs and tourism attractions are all within just a few blocks of the apartment. The location can't be beat.

The Southside Suite is close to all downtown amenities, with all the creature comforts of home. We can't wait to meet you!

Cancellation Policy
Our reservation and cancellation policies must be more restrictive than a large hotel since a cancellation is very disappointing to both the guests and to us as, in most instances, we will have turned away other guests who would have reserved the apartment for your dates.
Our cancellation policy states that, "should you fail to use your confirmed reservation, we reserve the right to retain all funds received as liquidated damages until the unit is re-rented at the same rate for the same time period. If the latter occurs we will retain a $100 CAD administrative fee."
We recommend you consider trip cancellation insurance to protect your vacation.
We are required to charge taxes on all reservations. If your stay however is one month plus one night (or more) taxes are exempt.
