About Kerri James Geary
Our family has spent every summer, and many winters, in Grand Lake, for over 50 years. We owned and operated a large hospitality business in Grand Lake for almost all of that time and we understand what it takes to make a guest happy. We still visit Grand Lake each summer, but are now offering guests an opportunity to enjoy our favorite get-a-way for a few months each summer. This cabin is truly our second home, and we intend that guests feel at home themselves.
Kerri James Geary purchased this Cabin in 1970
Why Kerri James Geary chose Grand Lake
Long time family cabin, purchased in the 1970's. Family owned by a hospitality business family--over 50 years of past resort ownership in Grand Lake. High quality customer service!
What makes this Cabin unique
The cabin is directly on the West shore of Grand Lake, with picture perfect views of Mt. "Baldy" and surrounding mountains. The large dock is one of very few on the lake, and we allow guests to tie up 1 boat during their stay. If your group is bigger than the cabin will allow, overflow living is available in Bunkhouse on property. Bunkhouse sleeps 4 with another full bathroom and kitchenette.

The property was beautiful and the home had wonderful history and character.
We loved the views and peacefulness of grand lake. We will definitely be returning. The owners were very nice and helpful with quick responses. The only issue I had was not being able to access a broom or mop without someone coming and unlocking a closet. I just like to keep things neat. Our family had an amazing time. Thank you guys so much for opening your home.
So much fun!
This was our 2nd year at this lake house. It is the best location on the lake. My family loves it. We will be back.
We enjoyed staying here with our family: 5 adults and 4 little kids under 3! Great to be able to play in the water with the kids and not make a big production of it. We walked to town or drove when we wanted, everything is pretty close.
The house was stocked with most of the little things: salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. It's certainly rustic, very charming, lots of character. We would stay here again. Thanks for opening your home to us!
Fantastic Family gathering home
Our family of 10 had a fantastic time in this home. Property was beautiful and the convenience to the lake and town was outstanding. We spent countless hours on the dock, little beach area, fishing and in the canoe. Then each night we were able to enjoy the deck with a fire overlooking the lake. Our grandchildren loved the area. The cabin is a simple 15 minute walk to town which we enjoyed multiple times. The cabin was large enough that our family gathering never felt cramped and provided us with a huge dining area to all sit together for our dinners. The cabin also contains endless information and history on the Grand Lake area. You won't be disappointed!
Fantastic large cabin on the water.
Every thing was 1st class. Large bedrooms, Beautiful old furniture. Beautiful landscaping. Great dock for fishing. Perfect for our family vacation.
We enjoyed this beautiful historic cabin enormously. Being right on the lake was glorious, from fishing off the pier to watching the sun shimmer off the water and the amazing view of "Mt Baldy" Absolutely breathtaking views! The location close to town, very convenient. We had a large group and the house was laid out and outfitted perfectly. We had everything we needed and a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill made cooking easy. We cannot wait to visit again! Reed and Katie James were gracious hosts and made sure our stay was perfect! A beautiful home in a beautiful location!
