Bear Creek is a Hot Tub Cabin with a wonderful Mountain View. Relax in the indoor Hot Tub with your favorite drink and loved one at the same time. Then sit on the private deck and take in the mountains and stars.
Bear Creek Cabin specializes in last minute rentals with no check-in or keys to pickup. Our Guests drive directly to Bear Creek Cabin so they can start enjoying their stay! Bear Creek is just south of the North Georgia town of Blue Ridge. Bear Creek is close to Restaurants, Groceries, and activities while still being back in the woods off the beaten path.
Bear Creek has a King bed in the master and is mainly for romantic weekend getaways, the second bedroom has a Queen bed. It can also be a great weekly escape for people that bring a large suitcase or don't mind doing a load of laundry in town (Bear Creek has no washer or dryer).
Bear Creek is beautiful in the Fall with all the leaf color and crisp fresh air. Remember to book early if you are looking to stay during the fall mountain festivals. The Ellijay Apple Festival is always the second and third weekends in October. A one mile hiking trail crosses the road right across the road from Bear Creek Cabin and since it is a loop will bring you right back to Bear Creek! The pond you pass on the way in is available for community use.
Activities in the area include: Hiking, Mountain Biking, Tubing, Trout Fishing, Boating, and plenty of Nature
Check-in at 4PM check-out at 11AM. Early check-in available for $25 and late check-out available for $30 when there is no conflict with maintenance, cleaning, or other scheduled Guests.
POLICIES: All stays must be paid in full 30 days prior to stay. All bookings under $326 are due in full at time of booking. Guest agrees by renting and entering cabin that they assume all responsibilities and liabilities during their stay as well as agrees to hold Management and Owner entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibilities for injures or damages incurred, regardless of whether injures or damages are caused by negligence.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: the rental charges are fully refundable if you cancel your reservation in writing via US Mail on or before the 61st day before your stay. If you cancel within 60 days of your stay, booking/rental charges are nonrefundable unless we are able to rebook the cabin for the dates you have reserved. Once past the refund point there are four options:
1) Reschedule your stay to dates that you will be available to make. But be aware that doing that reduces your options to only being able reschedule if you have to reschedule again IE no refund options.
2) Instruct me to open your dates as available and if they rent you will receive their rental payment up to the amount of your current payments. If the dates don't rent, then you still automatically fall back to option One, schedule a new stay.
3) Do nothing forfeiting your deposit.
4) Mutual agreed cancellation will be a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee on stays less then $500 or a $100 cancellation fee on stays over $500.
These policies are part of the booking process and my taking your reservation dates off the rental market. All Guests have the option to obtain/buy Vacation/Renters Insurance, To recoup the cost of nonrefundable travel expenses, we encourage you to consider purchasing trip-cancellation insurance.
These policies are the only way to be fair considering the cabin can only be rented once for specific dates and when taken off the rental market by a Guest Reservation all the time since the reservation was processed is lost and can't be recovered but at the same time I don't want Guests to loss money unless they chose not to reschedule.
By BOOKING, RENTING, or ENTERING Cabin, Guest agrees to terms for this cabin and posted on this website.
Please check the availability calendar as it is up to date except for any last minute booking. Quotes are good for seven (7) days unless accompanied by an expiration date. Rates are subject to change until reservation is booked with a paid deposit. Must be at least 21 years old to rent as well as somebody at least 21 years old on property during rental. A single night rental is at the two night rate.
