About Sherry and Francesco

My husband and I have been involved with the resurgence of our neighborhood over the past 15 years and are now eager to share it with new people. We love VRBO and are excited about creating new spaces to show off our neighborhood. We enjoy working with local artists and creating spaces for them to flourish, this is our passion. We have two rambunctious and adventurous children that keep us on our toes and feeling young!

Why Sherry and Francesco chose Chattanooga

Enjoy the neighborhood park, the abundant hiking trails that lead to waterfalls and majestic Tennessee views. St Elmo is teaming with locally owned and operated businesses. Our own neighborhood pub, Moccasin Bend Brewing Company, where you can meet the locals or take home a growler (you can also bring your dogs). Visit Mojo Burrito, delicious food in a hip environment, 1885 Restaurant for a more upscale dining experience, don't miss out on their incredible fresh water trout blackened or grilled, or St. Elmo's own Purple Daisy and dine on a BBQ sandwich. St. Elmo Deli will provide you with the perfect lunch on the run. Don't forget Mr.T's Pizza and hand scooped ice cream that has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years!!!! The choices are endless!

What makes this house unique

We can point you in the direction of almost anything that you would like to enjoy in Chattanooga. See seven states from Rock City, visit the nation's largest and deepest underground waterfall at Ruby Falls, take a short ride on the Incline Railway to ascend and descend Lookout Mt, where you have access to amazing views from the top of Lookout Mountain from Point Park, or visit Sunset Rock. We are a mere 5 miles from downtown Chattanooga. Enjoy the river front at Ross's landing on the banks of the Tennessee River, visit the Tennessee Aquarium, and walk right down Broad St and enjoy a Moon Pie! How would you like to see the Hunter Museum or take a walk across the nation's longest pedestrian bridge to Coolidge park in North Chattanooga? There are many locally owned businesses and also some familiar favorites. The list is endless!! (That's just getting to see Chattanooga as a tourist!)

Amazing visit despite the disaster we left behind

  • 5 of 5

We fled Fort Myers due to Hurricane Irma. With all left behind except our pets and a few personal items dear to us; we arrived at this property. It was cozy, with that home away from home feeling, just plain beautiful! Sherry, the owner, definitely gave us a warm welcome. We loved our stay and plan to visit again soon, hopeful of even becoming permanent residents of Chatanooga. ❤

Beautiful spot

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in St Elmo for Labor Day weekend, and the house and location could not have been better!!!! The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The neighborhood is so peaceful. We really felt at home.

The owners are wonderful people and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Would highly recommend this home.

Girls Trip 2017

  • 5 of 5

My 3 girlfriends and I just spent three relaxing days/nights in the Blue Bungalow. We were on our 2017 Girls Trip and Chattanooga was our final stop. The house is just adorable. As avid HGTV watchers, we all admired the work Sherry and Francesco did to flip this house and decorate it in such a charming way. Unfortunately it rained too much during our visit so we were not able to sit on the back deck and enjoy the peace and quiet. But we gazed longingly out the window at the inviting benches and table. It you are planning a trip to Chattanooga, you will not be disappointed if you rent this house. I've used VRBO and Homeaway to rent many places and most do not have the owners right there. It was great to get to meet both Sherry and Francesco. Both are very personable and I know had we needed them for anything, they would have been right there. Back to the house - one of my pet peeves when renting is that the people do not provide you with what you need. Not so with these two. Everything you need is right there in the house. Plenty of towels, bedding, dishes, etc. The air conditioning worked great and ceiling fans made sleeping very pleasant. They even had luggage stands in each closet like you'd get in a hotel! Little extras like that mean a lot. I would highly recommend the Blue Bungalow if traveling to Chattanooga is in your future plans.

Spectacular!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in Chatanooga! This home had everything we could have asked for and more (above & beyond the call of duty). The owners were very accommodating. The home was clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as it was just a few minutes away to everything we planned to visit during our stay. We will be back for sure!!
