About Sherry and Francesco
My husband and I have been involved with the resurgence of our neighborhood over the past 15 years and are now eager to share it with new people. We love VRBO and are excited about creating new spaces to show off our neighborhood. We enjoy working with local artists and creating spaces for them to flourish, this is our passion. We have two rambunctious and adventurous children that keep us on our toes and feeling young!
Why Sherry and Francesco chose St. Elmo Improvement League
Enjoy the neighborhood park, the abundant hiking trails that lead to waterfalls and majestic Tennessee views. St Elmo is teaming with locally owned and operated businesses. Our own neighborhood pub, Moccasin Bend Brewing Company, where you can meet the locals or take home a growler (you can also bring your dogs). Visit Mojo Burrito, delicious food in a hip environment, 1885 Restaurant for a more upscale dining experience, don't miss out on their incredible fresh water trout blackened or grilled, or St. Elmo's own Purple Daisy and dine on a BBQ sandwich. St. Elmo Deli will provide you with the perfect lunch on the run. Don't forget Mr.T's Pizza and hand scooped ice cream that has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years!!!! The choices are endless!
What makes this House unique
We can point you in the direction of almost anything that you would like to enjoy in Chattanooga. See seven states from Rock City, visit the nation's largest and deepest underground waterfall at Ruby Falls, take a short ride on the Incline Railway to ascend and descend Lookout Mt, where you have access to amazing views from the top of Lookout Mountain from Point Park, or visit Sunset Rock. We are a mere 5 miles from downtown Chattanooga. Enjoy the river front at Ross's landing on the banks of the Tennessee River, visit the Tennessee Aquarium, and walk right down Broad St and enjoy a Moon Pie! How would you like to see the Hunter Museum or take a walk across the nation's longest pedestrian bridge to Coolidge park in North Chattanooga? There are many locally owned businesses and also some familiar favorites. The list is endless!! (That's just getting to see Chattanooga as a tourist!)

Nice old home
The owners did a good job updating this old home. We were a little confused as first because we reserved the "Blue Bungalo", but nothing about this home is blue. The house next door is blue so we attempted to go in and were met by other guests. The "Blue Bungalo" is actually a small gray house. I think a better name could be the "Gray Goose". Ha ha ha It was charming. We enjoyed our stay.
Great place to stay
Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again now that we have alarm training. :)
Beautiful historic home with all modern conveniences!
This home and the surrounding community were perfect for my family and I. The house is a comfortable size with open layout and beautiful outdoor space. The neighborhood was quiet, welcoming, and very family friendly. We enjoyed biking around the corner to the St. Elmo Community Playground where we were able to let our daughter have some fun. Plus it is within a very short drive to any of the popular Chattanooga attractions. Felt like we were home. Will definitely rent again!
The house was so beautiful, inside and out. Even though there was only two of us staying, there is definitely room for three more people to stay. It was so clean inside the home, and everything we needed was inside the home. We will absolutely be staying in this home again! Thank you Sherry for stopping by to check on us. We have never had someone do that before. It shows even more that you care a lot about the people that stay along with your home! Thank you again for having us!
Cute, cozy, with a great location!!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the blue bungalow for the weekend!! The property was very clean and well-maintained with great proximity to local restaurants and stores. St. Elmo is adorable and not far from downtown activities!
House was Perfect!
The house was great. Lots of places nearby for activities and plenty of places to eat. The house had everything we needed and was perfectly cozy. We enjoyed it. Thanks so much.
