About the property

Ski, Cycle, Swim, Hike, Feed deer from 1 bedroom condo with private patio

Scenic oasis with gorgeous view on signature hole of Le Geant Golf course. BBQ on the back patio watching golfers and feeding deer while admiring picturesque Laurentian style chalets lining the course. Walk or cycle the easy distance on the multipurpose path to shops and restaurants at the base of Mont Tremblant or take the shuttle. Shuttle stops outside condo to take you to the beach. Great location to join the action at the mountain of free concerts, ziplining, or cheering Ironman events, and yet get away from the noise and commotion when you are relaxing in your condo. You are a short distance (150 steps) from Les Manoirs 3 tiered pool and hot tub, yet cannot hear it from your private patio. It is an easy walk of a few steps from your private parking space to the front door of your condo. The condo is spacious, comfortable and appointed in classic Laurentian chalet style with a fireplace. It has a large screen tv and dvd and cd player.

About Jackie and Tim Powell

Intrawest published a Montagnard article about us as we were the first buyers of the millenium. "Jackie's parents met while on skiing holiday at Tremblant in 1957. They taught skiing in the Ernie McCulloch ski school and soon after bought a cottage property on Lac Tremblant Nord. They sold the property in the 1980s. Jackie and Tim honeymooned at the now closed historic Gray Rocks resort. From that time forward they brought busloads of high school students in all seasons to enjoy all the activities of the region. In 2000, Jackie and Tim decided they wanted a place of their own at Tremblant. There is something about this place that always draws you back!"

Jackie and Tim Powell purchased this condo in 2000

Why Jackie and Tim Powell chose Mont Tremblant

Les Manoirs captivated us immediately. The architecture is a combination of New England and Laurentian history. The design of the condos is spacious. The buildings only have 10 units and are far apart within the forest overlooking Le Geant golf course and the south side of Mont Tremblant. Our one bedroom condo is fully equipped with a private patio for barbequing. We love sipping wine on the patio and watching the golfers go by, or chatting with our neighbours as they feed the deer. This property has been home to us as we moved from one city to another.

What makes this condo unique

A typical summer day might begin with coffee on the patio watching the deer, birds surrounded by the beauty of the golf course and a Laurentian forest. Pack up your day pack and take a bike ride on petit train du nord past Lac Mercier to Kayak Cafe in Labelle. Enjoy lunch looking out at the river. When you return to the condo head down for an afternoon swim and tanning time at one of two beaches on Lac Tremblant or take a dip in the 3 tiered pool. Have afternoon drinks watching the sun disappear over the golf course back at the condo and enjoying the coolness and fresh scents of the forest. End the evening barbequing or dressing up for dinner at Tremblant's vibrant restaurant scene, followed by a free evening outdoor concert. Relax in the jetted tub before calling it a night.

This condo is ideal for a couple, a single person, or a family with one young child. The patio is separated from the patio next door with a wall and natural vegetation. The building is quiet and well looked after by owners who know one another. One side of the building has a pond with a place to sit and watch the frogs on the lily pads. Each building has 10 units and the buildings are far apart from one another. From the front of the condo and the bedroom window your view is of the south side runs of the mountain and the condos in Domain Forest. The shuttle stops at your front door.

Clean, Cozy, and Convenient!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I just spent last week enjoying Mount Tremblant. The condo was very enjoyable and true to the photos and amenitites with everything you would need to have a comfortable home base. The only item I needed but not available was an iron-but we managed :) We enjoyed the outdoor patio and meals at home on the BBQ. There was even a nightly visit from a deer we affectionately named"Triscut" (because she ate the remainder of our Triscuts). :) It is a very relaxing and quiet property conveniently located- about 10 minute walk to the village. Highlights of the area were climbing Mount Tremblant, the EcoZipline, Scandinavian Spa, and Parc Omega. Lastly, Jackie responded quickly to any questions we had and made it a very pleasurable stay.

quite, comfy location

  • 5 of 5

very happy with my experience. jackie was very attentive prior to me arriving. i was here for the ironman and the transition was a 10 minute walk away. if you're a new ironman, or are generally achey post race, the condo is located on a hill, so beware. otherwise, it was in a great location for family to pop in and out of for the race. it has 3 pools, hot tub etc.

if i were to do it again, i would stay at a host hotel (just because walking back at midnight after a few beers was tiring, and i'm lazy)

otherwise, stay here, it's a great location. very happy to be there with family!

A lovely well-maintained condo in the heart of Mont Tremblant.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Jackie's condo in Mont Tremblant. It is clean, comfortable and well-provisioned exactly as the pictures represent. The deer were on the picturesque golf course outside the back patio daily and the pool was lovely. It is a 10 minute walk to the Village. Jackie was very helpful at recommending places to eat and activities to do. We would return here anytime! Thanks for a great vacation!
