Great place on the lake
Wonderful house with lots of amenities. Beautiful location on the lake, would highly recommend.
Great location, excellent communications. Would definitely stay again
Scott was an excellent host. Very proactive and responsive in his communications. The house is exactly as advertised. Scott recently upgraded the internet service prior to our stay, which was terrific considering my wife and I were working from the house at times, and the kids were on ipads.
10 minutes from Food Lion, with a small, but serviceable gas station/market about 3 minutes away. Very convenient.
Dock had everything we needed, and kids had plenty of fun just swimming near the shore. Being on the private side meant that the water was warm, even early in the season.
Would definitely stay again!
Beautiful Home with great views
We had a great time on this beautiful property. Kids loved the karaoke machine along with the pool table, air hockey table, and foosball table. The swimming off the dock was perfect for the kids (and adults). Having our own boat ramp was very convenient as well. We will definitely be back !!
Private and stocked for fun!
We had an amazing time At this property. Scott was very informative about all the extras that the house offered, as well as very responsive to the sensitive circumstances that renting during the Covid-19 crisis brought about. So much to do, but you could easily pass hours chilling on the deck staring at the beautiful lake and private cove setting. We can’t wait to go back!
We had a great time relaxing and hanging out all while enjoying a beautiful view of the lake. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and we loved playing pool. Will definitely consider renting again.
There is plenty to do at Busbees Cove all year round. Come in
the summer for swimming, tubing and boating. Come in the fall to
enjoy the fall foliage or take a wine tour during harvest time. Come in the Winter to enjoy the Hot Tub and family gatherings. Come anytime to just relax, head out fishing, or watch for Eagles flying around the cove.
Nearby attractions include golfing, hiking and Kings
Dominion, or take time to visit Monticello, Charlottesville, or Fredericksburg, all
just a short distance away.
Boat rentals, jet ski rentals, and marina services are all available
on the Public Side of the lake.

Why Scott Kinne chose Bumpass
When we decided to purchase a lake house at Lake Anna, we search the entire lake, both sides, for nearly a year trying to find the right property with nice deep water, without success. We then focused our desires on building the house of our dreams, and spent another year looking for the right land to buy. When we first found this lot it was fully wooded, but we had a vision of what could be achieved, and are now ecstatic about how it turned out. There are still a few items we will need to add to make it perfect for our retirement home, but we are extremely happy with it, and everyone who visits has great things to say. In the near future, we will probably be adding a detached garage with separate living quarters above it, along with an outdoor kitchen area and covered ceiling below the deck to allow enjoyment outside even in the rain!
What makes this House unique
When you arrive at the house, you will be greeted by the large wall of windows looking out to the lake. As you wander downstairs you will again be greeted by a large wall of windows to make sure that no lake activities will be missed, while still enjoying all the games provided indoors!
