This brand new listing offers a charming, 1,100 sq. ft. single family home, with deck overlooking a large pond. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, split plan, completely renovated with new bathrooms, bedrooms, flooring, cabinets, appliances and furniture.

It has Mountain Views and is close to everything - whether you're a foodie, beer lover, antique collector or outdoor enthusiast, our home is centrally located for you to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House/Estate are less than 6 miles away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 4 miles away with spectacular views and hundreds of beautiful hiking trails. After touring our wonderful city, relax and enjoy a private and peaceful setting on the deck, which overlooks our pond and feed the koi fish. (THERE IS NO FISHING ALLOWED).

This property is perfect for families, couples or anyone who wants a peaceful, natural, mountain experience while being close to everything at the same time. While drinking your morning coffee, watch hawks, blue herons, and many other birds enjoying the pond each morning.

To make this unit affordable for a single couple, even though it will sleep up to six people, the quoted prices are for two persons. Each additional person, including children, are $9.00 per night, per person.

We welcome your pets, with owner's PRIOR approval, and an additional pet cleaning fee. The charge for the first dog is $75, and a second dog would cost an additional $25, for a total of $100. A third dog may be considered if approved by the owner and further charges would apply. The fenced side yard and gated deck are ideal for pets, and the wooded property line gives you the feeling of country living. The laundry room door opens to the fenced yard, so managing your dogs is easy. As we have worked hard to create a peaceful setting, it is not suitable for loud or late night partying or large gatherings.

The WIFI is high speed cable. With the exception of seven stairs to the deck and front door all living areas are on one floor and easy to navigate. Although we are pet friendly, the rental is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each guest's visit.

If you are planning a family reunion, we have an additional rental on the other side of the pond which sleeps four (VRBO property #430071).

We fell in love with Asheville and the mountains, and this beautiful property. The large pond had so much wildlife that we couldn't resist. We are from the Midwest and the mountains here are stunning.

Why Bob Spear chose Smoky Mountains

We have been coming to Asheville for several years and decided this property was perfect for us. We bought this land a few years ago due to its private and natural setting.

What makes this house unique

This wooded property, with the large pond and two lighted fountains, is what is unique to this area. It is a wonderful place to relax, whether on the front deck overlooking the pond or building a campfire in the fire pit and fixing s'mores. Your private deck is a perfect location to have coffee and breakfast in the morning while listening to singing birds. At any one time during warm weather we have ducks, herons and other birds. There are koi fish in the pond who like to be fed. A gas grill is provided for your bar-b-q needs. The home's interior has been completely renovated. Also, you are close to everything, but still have this private setting. We are just a few minutes from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

PRIVATE, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. PET FRIENDLY

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Great view over the water, complete with tranquil fountains. The location is perfect, close to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. An added bonus was being able to bring our dogs. There is a fully fenced, spacious dog run and many walks and trails in the area, which our dogs loved. It was really nice knowing they were happy and safe while we were out sightseeing. We were able to completely relax and unwind in this little piece of heaven. We will definitely visit again.

Very Relaxing and Homey

Stayed in Property for a week and really enjoyed it with my kids. Bob was extremely helpful when i had issues with the TV and came right over to help.

Easy access to the city but at the same time private and relaxing. Would recommend highly.

Clean, quiet, private and close to evrything

The house was roomie and clean. The property was very private. We could not see or hear the neighbors to either side of us. Having a pond at the front door was beautiful and relaxing and the outside fire place was great. The lot gave a feeling of seclusion yet was close to everything. This will be our home away from home on all future visits to Asheville.

Excellent stay!

This home is in a lovely area of Asheville convenient to Black Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, restaurants, Ingles, and Whole Foods. It's dog friendly with a fenced in yard, no carpeting for those of us with allergies, and has everything that one needs. It's also very private and quiet which was an added bonus.

Midwesterners Head South
