FOX RUN - This brand new listing offers a charming, 1,100 sq. ft. single family home, with deck overlooking a large pond. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, split plan, completely renovated with new bathrooms, bedrooms, flooring, cabinets, appliances and furniture.

It has Mountain Views and is close to everything - whether you're a foodie, beer lover, antique collector or outdoor enthusiast, our home is centrally located for you to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Downtown Asheville and the Biltmore House/Estate are less than 6 miles away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 4 miles away with spectacular views and hundreds of beautiful hiking trails. After touring our wonderful city, relax and enjoy a private and peaceful setting on the deck, which overlooks our pond and feed the koi fish. (THERE IS NO FISHING ALLOWED).

This property is perfect for families, couples or anyone who wants a peaceful, natural, mountain experience while being close to everything at the same time. While drinking your morning coffee or evening cocktails on the deck, watch hawks, blue herons, and many other birds enjoying the pond each morning.

To make this unit affordable for a single couple, even though it will sleep up to six people, the quoted prices are for two persons. Each additional person, including any age child except for infants, are $9.00 per night, per person.

We welcome your small pets, with owner's PRIOR approval, and an additional pet cleaning fee. The charge for the first dog is $75, and a second dog would cost an additional $25, for a total of $100. A third dog may be considered if pre-approved by the owner and further charges would apply. The fenced side yard and gated deck are ideal for pets, and the wooded property line gives you the feeling of country living. The laundry room door opens to the fenced yard, so managing your dogs is easy. As we have worked hard to create a peaceful setting, it is not suitable for loud or late night partying or large gatherings. Entry has a security/weather camera.

The WIFI is high speed cable. With the exception of seven stairs to the deck and front door, all living areas are on one floor and easy to navigate. Although we are pet friendly, the rental is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each guest's visit.

If you are planning a family reunion, we have an additional rental on the other side of the pond which sleeps four (VRBO property #430071). If you book this rental, you will receive a Vacation Rental Agreement and, if approved, for dogs, a Dog Guidelines Agreement. You must sign and return this agreement(s) within 7 days to the address provided in the Agreement(s).

We fell in love with Asheville and the mountains, and this beautiful property. The large pond had so much wildlife that we couldn't resist. We are from the Midwest and the mountains here are stunning.

We have been coming to Asheville for several years and decided this property was perfect for us. We bought this land a few years ago due to its private and natural setting.

What makes this house unique

This wooded property, with the large pond and two lighted fountains, is what is unique to this area. It is a wonderful place to relax, whether on the front deck overlooking the pond or building a campfire in the fire pit and fixing s'mores. Your private deck is a perfect location to have coffee and breakfast in the morning while listening to singing birds. At any one time during warm weather we have ducks, herons and other birds. There are koi fish in the pond who like to be fed. A gas grill is provided for your bar-b-q needs. The home's interior has been completely renovated. Also, you are close to everything, but still have this private setting. We are just a few minutes from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

A great location to relax & rest up for each day's adventure into Asheville or the Blue Ridge Prkw

After reading other people's reviews; we all have similar "plus" reasons for enjoying our stay at 29 Red Fox Den Dr. Personally, I loved seeing the Red 29, private drive signs, everytime we returned from a busy day of scouting the area. The rental is in a handy location for what will be on your vacation "to do" list. And to prepare for your day, you have all the amenities and the comforts of your own home. I can not think of one negative experience. Outside there was the view of the pond and at a distance a quiet neighborhood of upscale homes, backed by a mountain of trees. Did we feel we were in that neighborhood? No, the opposite. Red Fox Den had a quiet demeanor with trees and large front porch. And we chose this rental because of pet friendly. The fenced in area gets a Gold Star for handiness. And the rental showed not one sign of any previous dogs had been there. And don't forget the fantastic Ingels Grocery store is minutes away. The owners get a "High Five" from us for the joyful and restful experience they give others in sharing this property.

What a great place to rent! We loved it

Our trip to the area was a business trip so it was so nice to have a home to come back to each night that was so clean, cozy and charming! Our group each had their own bedrooms and we loved hanging out in the living area together. Restaurants were close and it was easy to drive to. Thank you so much for the great stay!

Clean

The house itself was fine. The yard a little on the small side and was a little nervous about surrounding houses on the way to rental property, looked a little ifff. But the house itself was ok.

Owner's Response: Wow....this review is unbelievable and would lead anyone reading it to wonder what "iffy" means. This area is a quiet residential area and completely safe and there have NEVER been any type of problems. This is Asheville! The "small" yard she described is for our guests' dogs, and not the two children who stayed there and were not included in her reservation or payment. We have fifty-one 5 star average reviews in the past two years since being on VRBO and we invite anyone reading this review to please read all of our other reviews and judge for themselves.

Cozy retreat

Relaxing retreat

We had a great visit at this lovely home. Very clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. We brought our dog and loved the large deck overlooking the pond with gates on both ends so she could be off leash. The fenced side yard gave her a space to run. It was very close to town and to our 11 month old granddaughter who we had come to see. We would definitely stay there again.
