Come visit our 15.5 acre Alpaca Farm and Ranch in the rural area bordering on Princeton and McKinney less than 10 miles from historic downtown McKinney. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors, birds chirping, Alpacas humming and the fire flies dancing. Bring your kids and enjoy a weekend away from the city to experience nature and a working Alpaca Ranch. Enjoy reading a great book on the screened in porch, or playing with your kids on the outdoor tire swing . We have a great walking trail that is over a half a mile around the farm so you can get out and stay active.

About Todd Eccles
Wendi and I moved out from California last year in 2017 like many Californians escaping the rising costs of living in search of greater freedom to run our Farm and expand our Alpaca herd. I was fortunate to have my work located in Plano Texas, which is a software company owned by Gannett (USA Today Network). Wendi is a registered nurse working at the local McKinney Medical City hospital. We have 2 kids, currently 15 and 17. One of them is severely autistic so we are very involved with the special needs community.
Todd Eccles purchased this Farmhouse in 2017
Why Todd Eccles chose Princeton
We are building a farm where we will raise Alpacas for breeding and their fiber along with growing food for our local residents and ourselves.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
You will get to relax without all the noise of the city, just the birds chirping and the alpacas humming. You might also hear the dogs barking at the coyotes at night.

Wonderful Alpaca Farm Experience (๑･̑◡･̑๑)
This alpaca farm is indeed a working farm. City folks -- stay here to get inspired. The beautiful scenery and serenity allowed time to reflect on natural beauty. We were there in December -- I can imagine this place just gorgeous in spring and summer. The house had plenty of Keurig coffee and a stove. We didn't cook much, but it was a full on kitchen for someone who wants to be away from the city to just drink in all of the natural surrounding. We had our amazing alpaca tour at sunset and got some incredible pictures (lighting was just perfect)! Plus the alpacas have so much expression -- they made the pictures turn out great. I'm a jogger -- so it was really nice going on the country roads and coming "home" to the farm. I can see staying here again -- the back porch is really nice (nice comfy chairs w/fire pit), but since we were there during winter solstice we din't use the porch at Todd's farm (we came to Texas as out of state wedding guests). The little farm house had festive Christmas decoration and outdoor lights -- so it's obvious they paid amazing attention to detail on everything. Love the memorable experience -- and looking forward to staying again!! Thank you for being wonderful host/hostess!!
Wonderful, perfect anniversary getaway!
The hosts are great, property is scenic, cabin comfortable with many thoughtful details. Loved the timely Christmas tree. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch and fire pit. We hope to come back sometime to try "front porch sitting" with a cute view of the alpacas!
This tiny house was so cute and warm. We took a tour of the alpacas and the store. And loved it all. Todd and Wendy are great. Would definitely stay again.
We are just outside of the famous historic downtown McKinney. There are many award winning restaurants from a high end steak house to an Irish Pub to good ol southern cooking with SugarBacon restaurant. There are wineries out here to tour and a local brewery that is open Wed-Sun with live music on Fri and Sat.
