Great girl's weekend in Charleston.

Four long time (40# years) friends met in Charleston for a long weekend. We had a fabulous time and the house was just perfect for us. Fully equipped, clean and we found it very comfortable. The location was great, the neighborhood is undergoing extensive renovations and it is going to be amazing when completed. Easy driving downtown from there and we had no problems driving everywhere. Uber is available if needed. The owner of the house Diana thought of everything and would highly recommend booking it for a stay in Charleston.

As advertised-getting better all the time.

As prior reviews had noted, the property is in an area undergoing re-vitalization. First glimpse at neighborhood is somewhat daunting (as in "what did I get myself into??") but we ended up loving the place. If you have no issues with walking, it's easily walking distance to all the shops/restaurants on King St., Meeting St., or East Bay Street. Roughly 2.5 miles to the Battery. Needless to say, we got our mileage in each day but it was a pleasant walk and not an issue for our crowd. And, right around the corner is Leon's Fine Poultry and Oysters, which was fantastic. Also, Rodney Scott's BBQ is about 4 blocks north-the best BBQ I've ever had (and I eat ALOT of eastern NC BBQ..!) All in all, we look forward to staying there again. As a rickshaw driver told us about our location, "5 years ago the location was really sketchy. Now, it's not bad at all and in another 5 years, you won't recognize the neighborhood". Pretty narrow parking in the back (our Tahoe barely fit inside gate), but all went well. Enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

Charming home in Charleston!

Nice vacation rental with comfortable beds. The neighborhood does look a little rough but we felt very safe coming and going. There are two nice places very close, Leon's and Little Jack's Tavern which we liked a lot. It was a 13 minute walk to upper King which we did once. Uber was very quick and cheap. Also, you will think you are at the wrong house when you drive up because it looks nothing like this. It's actually much prettier. Diana was great to deal with! We loved eating our way through Charleston and hope to go again soon.

Great house for a girls weekend!

I stayed in this house with 5 other girls from a friday to a monday and it was great! Good location to uber to and from restaurants and bars on King. 3 (small) bathrooms to get ready in. Very clean, and easy access to get in/ check out! Highly recommend this house. Diana was a great host. She left us a bottle of wine, makeup wipes, had plenty of towels, blankets, etc.. and made sure we got in okay. Everything was excellent!

Comfortable, convenient house

My family of 6 had a nice stay at this house. It was very clean and comfortable. This house has been renovated and is located in an area that is undergoing gentrification - which means some nice houses, some questionable. We walked to a few trendy restaurants or took an inexpensive Uber/Lyft ride to downtown. I would recommend this house, especially for larger groups.

Clean and brand new!

The house was fantastic! It was brand new, clean and the perfect sleeping arrangements for the 5 of us to stay in charleston for the weekend. I would definitely stay here again!
