Simple three bedroom furnished house, hidden away on a quiet street. Great stop for overnight trips or events in Louisville. Keeps you in the rush, but out. The house is also conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, Port of Jeffersonville, and Amazon. Pet friendly, WiFi, cable, & a DVD player for those redbox rentals. . The house could accommodate a few more with air mattresses. There is plenty of space.

I am surprised home away would rent such an awfull place ,it was disgusting, old and shabby
The furniture had to be from peddlers flea market, the couches are 12“ to the floor,,the walls had gaps at the floor level and ceiling, the living room was light battle ship grey, the kitchen a dark grey. All concrete floors painted grey ! Bathroom floor tile missing and filthy, the kitchen floor was 1930 ,s asbestos tiles, with white paint splattered all over it,2 counter seats were industrial grey factory stools,.one double bed had OLD open springs screwed to bed frame with mattress on top with plywood between, the noise woke us both up each time my daughter moved.there are no kitchen or dining table or chairs, very old tv in bedroom didn’t work and there is a washer dryer but it’s locked up,.had to put a rug in front of kitchen door to deter mice ar snakes coming in through the gap and both glass doors were filthy.oh and the peel and stick tile in the living room was loose.and the bathroom door is coming apart,,,,I could go on !!!!!
I am 79 yrs old with artificial knees, hips and shoulders, and we like to come up to Sellersburg area three times a year to visit family and friends but still want to be independent, and stay in a house with our small dog,but we won’t be using what can only be called a dump,
as it was very uncomfortable and ugly.
We are used to much better ,and I only hope the two we have booked one in August for two weeks and one for a month over xmas will be up to our standards as we feel we were photo shopped on this one ,also one photo looks like it had a fenced yard ,and it is only fenced on left side and rear, the right side has posts but no fence, the table and chairs out back were very old and filthy so we couldn’t sit outback with the dog and relax before supper ,so disappointing..we have photos to substantiate what I have written,,oh yes there were no cleaning tools either this woman does not know how to rent a vacation home, don’t you have standards too.in retrospect looking at the photos one can see it’s not up to rental standards, the problem is there are very few pet friendly houses in southern Indiana for vac rent.
We have rented through you over a number of years in the USA carribean and( England I think ) and all very good but this one was a nightmare on villa dr,I love my family and friends but am glad to be spending the night at Ramada on our way home it’s a castle in comparison and more to our high standards ,
For your info we live in a lovely home and always book good suites when we cruise.which we do yearly.
Amazing house, perfect for our Derby weekend!!
We stayed in this house with a group of people for Derby weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone and we made one bathroom work easily. We did cook all of our meals and had everything we needed. It was a perfect location, a short Uber/Lyft ride into the downtown Louisville area or Churchill Downs. The owner was great at communication and answered the many questions we had about our first Kentucky Derby experience. She also left us a sweet gift basket with snacks and Derby cups, which was above and beyond our expectations! Thanks for everything and we may be back for another Kentucky Derby in the near future :)
This property is a little older, but very well kept and very clean. While staying in Louisville we were very busy so we only spent a few hours each evening at the house but we found everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and more than accommodating. We especially appreciated all the treats she left around the house.
Everything we needed
The house is well maintained and had everything we needed for a family of five plus a dog. Great location close to Louisville with lots of local restaurant options (bonus recommendations provided by the owners!) and within easy driving of lots of state parks and cave tours and scenic drives. The whole stay was smooth and problem free. Recommended!
It worked out nice for the two night stay
Home was older but in quite nice neighborhood. Bathroom had no toilet paper when we arrived and kitchen pans were rusty and no foil to cover them with. Nice to have the laundry room to wash towels.
The home was easy to find, and very nice. We only got to stay for the night, but the owner was extremely helpful and made our stay a great experience.
