Enjoy the beauty of a Galveston sunrise right from your very own balcony! Palisade Palms is situated directly behind the sand dunes at East Beach with full unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. No seawall to cross, no traffic to contend with, and no unsightly views.

Located in the Trade Winds tower at beautiful Palisade Palms, TW-504 is a spacious 1,430 sq ft fully furnished oceanfront luxury condominium with 2.5 bedrooms and 2.5 Baths. This unit sleeps four adults and two children very comfortably.

Both bedrooms and the living room open onto a large balcony overlooking the pool deck and the Gulf of Mexico. There is an electric grill on the balcony, so bring your steaks, burgers and favorite seafood.

Each bedroom has its own full bath, with a half-bath off of the living room. The Master BR is furnished with a queen bed, while the 2nd BR has two single beds that can be converted into a king size bed. All beds have down pillows and feather/down mattress toppers as well as high thread count Egyptian cotton linens. There are plenty of thick hotel quality bath towels and beach towels for your use during your stay. But in case you run out, not to worry - this condo has a large capacity Kenmore Elite HE5t washer and dryer in the unit. The kitchen is furnished with premium quality Bosch appliances: full-size refrigerator, electric range/convection oven, dishwasher, and microwave oven. Dinner service for eight, plus non-breakable glasses and dishes for use on the balcony or by the pool. A First-Aid kit and Fire Extinguisher are provided for your safety, and a iron w/ ironing board is provided just in case you need to touch up your evening clothes before going out to dinner.

Four LCD HDTV’s have been provided for your convenience: 1) a wall-mounted 42' TV in the Living Room with Blu-Ray Disk player and 5.1 Surround sound, including whole-house sound with speakers in both bedrooms. The quality Denon receiver/amplifier is iPod ready, so bring your iPod and listen to your personal music collection on the 5.1 surround sound system; 2) a 32' HDTV in the Master BR with built-in iPod dock and DVD player; 3) a 26' HDTV in the Second BR with DVD player; and 4) a 19' TV with built-in DVD player in the den.

Palisade Palms boasts some of the best amenities on Galveston Island. On the pool deck, enjoy the large adult infinity edge pool and the adjacent children's pool, two heated spas, and a fire pit. On the 2nd Floor, there is the Morning Lounge with coffee bar, group dining room, library and Fitness Center. The 3rd Floor offers a game room complete with big screen TV, board games, foosball, air hockey, and pool table, as well as the lanai deck and lounge.

The beach at Palisade Palms is rarely crowded, even during peak summer months, and is groomed regularly for your enjoyment. Palisades Palms is Galveston's newest and most luxurious high rise condominium, and best of all, it's situated directly on the beach! No seawall between you and the water; just walk directly out to the beach over the sand dunes on the newly reconstructed boardwalk.

Scott and I are "hands on" owners that personally make sure that your vacation exceeds your expectations! We live part time in Kingwood, and part time in Galveston--where we are active at Coastal Community Church (we highly recommend--http://www.discovercoastal.org)

Favorite Past times: Travel, beachcombing, kayaking, and tennis.

We love looking for dolphin while sitting on the balcony, walking on the beach, and reading a book under an umbrella by the pool. We hope you enjoy our beach condo as much as we do!!

Scott grew up in Ohio and is a Chemical Engineer working downtown Houston. Lyn grew up all over the world with her father being in the Army and volunteers with Child Advocates (CASA) and with our church.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy the quiet beauty of the sunrises, when Dolphins are often spotted offshore , as well as the stunning views of the Gulf from our balcony. We also love the fact that our uncrowded beach is easily accessible, where we can set up for a full day of enjoyment of sand, surf, and a wide variety of bird life and sea life. We often take long, romantic walks on the beach at sunset, enjoying the sights and sounds that are unique to the beach environment. Our children love to play on the beach, flying kites and building sand castles, boogie-boarding and throwing the frisbee. When they have had enough of the sand, they love to spend countless hours in the pool.

Notes:
Galveston offers 32 miles of relaxing beaches, superb restaurants, downtown shopping, quaint antique stores, incredible art galleries, fabulous entertainment and one of the largest and well-preserved concentrations of Victorian architecture in the country. Galveston's temperate climate allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful outdoors year-round. Located directly on the beach, we are a short drive away from Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, Lone Star Flight Museum, Elissa Ship. The island offers Gulf beaches, fishing, surfing, skating, Tennis, skate boarding and horseback riding. A little known fact outside of the birding community is that Galveston is one of the top birding locations in the United States, 3/4 of North American species travel through Galveston during the fall and spring migration.

Perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo is just far enough away from the noise and bustle of Seawall Blvd, yet close enough to access all the activities and restaurants Galveston has to offer. Everything was spotless and supplied for us, even beach toys and chairs. The only negative is the beds were too soft for our liking, which of course is a personal preference. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Week at Palisade Palms

We had a great week at Palisade Palms! We loved the beach, pool, hot tubs, game room and spent time all over Galveston island. Because East Beach is near our home in Houston, we had family and friends show up during the week. My husband's 40th birthday week was a huge success. The condo was the perfect size for our family of 4 to have together time and enough space. We ate every meal on the patio at the large table and watched the sun rise as well as full moon light up the ocean below. Highly recommend this place to others as well as we will be back.

Perfect setting for a getaway

My husband and I brought my parents (who both turned 90 this year) for a few days at the beach. The condo was perfect for our needs. Plenty of space, fully stocked with necessaries. We spent hours on the balcony, watching the waves roll in. Access to the beach is the best on the island. There is a small den off the kitchen with a fold out couch. My grandaughter stayed with us the last night, so this came in handy. The buiding is immaculate and the people running it do a great job.

A beautiful home with a beautiful view

This condo was great! It has everything you need except the sunscreen. It's in a quiet location on East Beach, which is where we prefer to stay. It's beachfront, not across the street, but still close to the restaurants without the drive from the west end of the island. Pool is great.

Owners were very nice to us

There was a mix up on the reservation, but the owners were very accommodating at their own expense. The condo itself was located on the fifth floor which is the perfect level. It overlooks the splashing fountains and pool area below, as well as the best view possible of the gulf. East Beach is the best beach in Galveston for walking. Not at all crowded.
