Btw Moab and Telluride- 3 bed/2 bath -160 acre ranch secluded Red Rock Canyon

Little Karoo, in the spectacular Paradox Valley, near MOAB, is a 160-acre working Hay farm and Horse Ranch. a secluded red rock canyon 20 minutes from the Utah border surrounded by cattle ranches, farms and BLM land. The farm includes four horses, a 12 acre horse pasture, corral, tack room and arena, two chicken coops with 30 fancy chickens, six dogs, and a large organic garden.

The Guest House is spacious, beautifully appointed with designer sheets, comfortable beds, quality furniture, wi-fi, blu-ray player, and Incredible views!

The guest house is Beautifully furnished in the SouthWest Style. About a 1/4 mile from the main farm house, this house boasts three bedrooms, living room,sitting area, large kitchen, two full baths, an outdoor deck w/ bar-b que, wood burning stove, washer and dryer, large screen tv, blu-ray dvd player and dvds, cd player, local phone service and wi-fi.

The master bedroom has a king sized, pillow-top bed; master bath has dbl sinks and both large tub and separate shower. The other bedrooms have day beds w/memory foam mattresses and can be made up for 4 twins or 2 full size beds.

You will enjoy the peaceful serenity & spectacular panoramic views!

We will offer farm fresh eggs and greens from our organic garden, when available. Mid-week maid service included in stays of 5 days or more.

*You will enjoy total privacy during your stay! However, a weekly bar-b-que and campfire will be offered for your enjoyment, as well as a tour of the farm and communing with the dogs and/or horses if you would like. Just ask!

About Anthony and Sarah Pisano

We are Anthony and Sarah, originally from Brooklyn, New York. We are childhood sweethearts who reconnected on the internet after 37 years! We got married in 2011 and decided to change our lives and get closer to the land. We were already living in Colorao and we loved the wide open spaces and mountains. We took an early retirement , and some horseback-riding lessons and decided a farm/ranch would be our next adventure!

Why Anthony and Sarah Pisano chose Colorado

We loved this property the minute we saw it! The landscape is beautiful, colorful and serene- but so alive! It is much more like Utah than colorado. High desert, lots of sage, amazing red rock cliffs- we were hooked. A person can breath out here (the air is so clean!) No traffic noise, few power lines. We love being surrounded by natural beauty as opposed to man made buildings, etc. The farm itself had everything we'd envisioned-a lovely farm house, horse facilities and pasture, chicken coop, additional homes for guests and rental, privacy and very few neighbors a good distance away.

What makes this farmhouse unique

The Guest house has stunning views in every direction! Sit on the back deck and you are likely to see the mule deer or the elk herd. At night the stars practically fall out of the sky and you can see the Milky Way! Quiet, serene, close to nature, wild-life, few people or cars. Gather farm fresh eggs, commune with the horses and dogs. trails for biking walking or running. A river nearby for swimming, camping and exploring. Unique historical sites including petroglyphs only locals know about!

Peace and Tranquility.

This is an amazing place. The home is comfortable and well furnished, with a well stocked kitchen. It is set in beautiful surroundings and completely private despite the owners ranch house being situated approx. 500+ yards away. The owners Sarah , Anthony and their son Phillip made us very welcome, making sure we were comfortable and had every thing we needed. We are very grateful to Anthony for giving up a morning of his time to run my husband round in his car to get a flat tyre repaired. In fact everyone we met in the Paradox area was friendly, informative and helpful.

We spent many wonderful evenings relaxing outside watching the sun go down, and the prairie dogs diving in and out of their warrens. It was truly relaxing. At night the stars were so bright we spotted quite a few shooting stars.

Paradox valley is a very interesting place full of pre historic history and geology. we enjoyed some lovely hikes around the valley and from just outside the guesthouse. We also spent time in Moab, Canyon lands, and the La Sal Mountains. The house is ideally situated for all these places and more. We are already making plans to return here next year.

Fantastic Three Day Stay

Drove up to the cutest guest house ever. Views on all sides are just amazing. When inside it is just a perfect country house. WIth an open floor plan the entire house just opens up to everything. With the shades up you can see for miles in every direction. The decorations are southwest with a touch of western. ( just my style ) We picked up groceries in Moab and cooked breakfast and dinner each day. We sat on the back deck and ate and enjoyed nature and all animals that wondered by at their best. We walked all around the area. Met one of the owners, Anthony, a charming man. We wanted peace and quiet and that is exactly what we got...What a wonderful visit to a spectacular place. Hope to someday return and enjoy another few days of total relaxation. The owners have thought of everything you could need for your stay and have made sure you are quiet comfortable.

Absolutely Wonderful Three Day Stay

The guest house is just perfect for someone wanting to spend a few quiet, comfortable days enjoying nature. The house has an open floor plant that allows you to be in any part and still connect with each other. The owners have supplied the house with almost everything needed for your stay. We enjoyed talking with one of the owners, Anthony. He was very knowledge and funny. We also enjoyed walking and just listening to all the sounds of nature at its best. The views are fantastic. You are kinda islsoated ( that's what we wanted ) so you need to pick up your groceries in Moab before you get to the ranch. We cooked and ate out on the deck each morning and night. What a wonderful visit to a great place. Hope to come back some day.

Away from it all!

We were two couples and two kids age 9 and 11. We had a fantastic time. The property is away from everything:traffic, people, noise! The views are spectacular. We brought bikes and went all over-there are many trails. We drove down the river road and found a safe place to swim. the kids loved that! The area is more like Utah than colorado with red rock cliffs everywhere- just gorgeous! Our hosts were wonderful- they treted us to a bar b que and campfire one night- Anthony is very funny and entertaining! Sarah was gracious and attentive to our needs and helped make our stay comfotable. At night the stars are bright and sparkling- you can even see the milky way out here! The house is furnished really nicely and spacious- comfortable beds- nice linens and pillows. We saw deer and rabbits- the dogs are very fun and the kids loved running with them. None of us ride but we got to hang out with the horses, pet them and give treats.. The kids had never seen live chickens before and they let them collect some eggs!! We drove to Moab a couple times to spend the day river rafting and exploring Arches Natinal Park. It was an hour drive each way which we thought would be a hassle but its so beautiful and scenic that it really was no big deal.

all in all a great trip and we are thinking of going back late summer or autumn and maybe taking a rding lesson or two! Thanks again Sarah and Anthony
