Rest assured you're in a beautiful neighborhood and will feel right at home!
My husband is a professional hockey player in Europe and I'm a former TV host now pregnant with our first baby coming in June. We live in Saratoga Springs during the summer and overseas the rest of the year. We know how fun and oh-so-popular Saratoga can get during track season so we're more than happy to share our home with you! This is a place we've treasured for the past two years and look forward to enjoying it for decades to come... And hope you do, too!
Cristina Blackwell purchased this condo in 2013
Our absolute favorite part about living in this property is the without a doubt the location! We are in the smack center of everything you could possibly want to do in the summer --swim in the gorgeous Victoria pool, play a game of golf, walk around the trails, enjoy the restaurant/bar scene, listen to a concert at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center... You've got it all at your fingertips!
Every person that has entered our home always throws in the word "cozy" --it's hard not to feel like it's your own! You have everything you need in the colorful kitchen from a Keurig to a panini grill. The master bedroom features a huge king size bed that will truly make you feel like a king! Each room has a life of it's own and is decorated inspired by Saratoga's charm.
Cristina and Pete were great to work with; very responsive, accommodating and gracious. The condo is perfect for two couples with a nice open central floor plan with kitchen, dining area and living room all in one big space. The bedrooms were nice too with an extremely comfortable mattress in the main bedroom (although I didn't dream of any winning horse names). Lastly, the location is really good too; literally a paved trail to Saratoga State Park is just outside the door step and the Track and downtown are within a mile or two. Overall, really nice lodging in a nice part of town. I'd recommend this place as a great place for two couples. Thanks again to our hosts.
Last minute Labor Day Weekend trip and it worked out perfectly. The condo is very clean, spacious and comfortable. The owners checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. We got up every morning and took our dogs for a run on the trails through SPAC. Saturday we went to the horse races with some lawn chairs and a cooler. Then visited the Saratoga winery for some live music and a flight. Topped off Saturday with a great dinner downtown (5 min cab ride). Sunday we rented a pontoon boat on the lake and found a cool spot where you can anchor in sandy spot and walk around in knee high water. Dogs loved it. Went back to the condo for a little nap and then walked over to SPAC with our lawn chairs for a Zac Brown Band concert.
Lots of fun stuff to do in Saratoga and this condo is in a great spot to get everything in!
Beautiful property that the was accessible to every where we wanted to go in Saratoga.
Exactly as advertised. Great condo to enjoy Saratoga but escape the noise and bustle of downtown. Short walk to SPAC and easy to get downtown and to the track. Condo was comfy, clean and terrace was perfect for the summer days. Owner was not in-town but checked by email to make sure everything was in order. No problem recommending it or staying here again.
We spent 3 nights at this property and found it to be very welcoming and homey. The property is in an amazing location. Downtown was approximately a mile/half away, we actually walked right into town one night. We also attended a concert at SPAC which was again a 10 minute walk from the property, which we loved. Saratoga golf course is right next door and the running/walking trails are right outside the property. My dog and I went on several walks a day and each time found a new area to explore. And finally, Cristina was a pleasure to work with at all points of the process. She is very responsive and accommodating. I will definitely be contacting her to rent this property again next year.
We traveled to Saratoga from NYC for a long weekend over the summer and had such a wonderful experience staying here. Upon arrival, we were immediately impressed with how lovely the apartment was - spotless, newly renovated, and spacious (for the four of us).
The hosts, a lovely couple, were extremely welcoming and friendly - they left us a note that included all of the house information we would need and even some extra snacks!
We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and the beds/furniture were super comfortable. We had plenty of space to cook dinner in the kitchen (all new appliances!), hang out in the living room, and enjoy a meal all together at the dining room table. The full bath for each bedroom was key as we were 2 couples.
This is a prime location in Saratoga, close to everything you could possibly need - the grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, and bank were right around the corner. It was easy to get to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center for our concert (a quick, lovely walk through the woods!).
The hosts were kind enough to let us bring our small dog with us, which we greatly appreciated - it was a bonus to be right next to the State Park for long walks and outdoor exercise.
Overall we couldn't of asked for a better experience - we'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Saratoga!
