Sitting on Sider’s pond, this beautiful Cape cottage is all one could dream of. Located between Surf Drive Beach and downtown Falmouth, both within a 10 minute walk, this is a gem. The 11 mile Shining Sea bike path is a few blocks away, Woods Hole and ferry’s to Martha’s Vineyard are a 12 minute drive. The location is enough to want it out right, but the home is just as perfect. Water view from the kitchen, dining area and living room. In the morning enjoy breakfast in the front courtyard and lunch and dinner on the large, backyard deck. The deck is great for relaxing, entertaining or enjoying the sounds of the children at play. At dusk, find yourself on to the water dock, enjoying some of the best sunsets the Cape has to offer. Although you can walk to amazing restaurants and a top rate French bakery don’t be surprised if you never leave the grounds!
We purchased this home in 1982 for our family, three children and many relatives to enjoy. As a nurse and architect we transformed this Cape cottage into our home.

My parents lived in Falmouth which is why I had to rare opportunity to experience this hidden secret jewel.
This water front property, short walks to the center of Falmouth and beaches make this an ideal place to visit. Sider's pond is calm enough to fish, swim, canoe or kayak on.
We were in Falmouth for October race weekend. The house is perfect -It is a very lovely and comfortable home. It had everything we needed. I felt like I was staying at my sister's house or the home of my best friend. Taking my tea down to the dock each morning helped start the day with a peaceful and clear outlook. What is almost as important is that everything is in walking distance. What a great little town to walk through. It has one of a kind stores for shopping. Great places to grab a bite to eat or a drink with a friend. The beach is a short walk down the street. Couldn't ask for a better place to hang for a fall weekend!
Cyclists and families enjoy riding along the 11 mile Shining Sea Bike Path.
The downtown library that is within walking distance as free events for children and adults alike. These include magicians and drum circles. There is a downtown 4th of July parade, Irish bar and local pubs. Beebe Woods has a 3 mile trail to walk and a pond to jump into. The Highfield Theater has free events and the College Light Opera House provides light opera for all to enjoy. These activities are within walking distance or a 8 minute drive.
