What makes this chateau / country house unique

The headliner kinda says it all, its quite, serine with lots of wild life from wild turkey's to deer and hawks, the views from the patio and french doors in the kitchen and living room are just beautiful because the house was built with the sunrise on your left view and the the sunset on your right view from inside or outside, you can hear a leaf drop at night, its that's quite.......

Beautiful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful, relaxing time on this gorgeous lake. The place was spotless and Al made sure we had everything we needed (use of his canoe, firewood, tubes, lawn chairs)... We really enjoyed swimming, fishing, canoeing and leisurely walks around the lake. It's so peaceful and picturesque, just what I needed to unwind. We also enjoyed bbqing and playing games on the porch and the fire pit by the lake at night. We had perfect weather and there was a nice breeze the whole time. Kitchen and bath had everything we needed (and then some). There is a college town with a Wal-Mart about 7 miles away if you forget anything. And the wifi kept my teen happy. Our phones didn't work (Sprint and AT&T) but I didn't mind that at all. The single beds are on the firm side but still much better than camping. LOL If we had more time, we would've explored the area and gone to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, but we were happy not to have leave. Just bring your fishing poles and food and enjoy!
