About Rita Ammons
My husband and I were both born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. We have always loved Williams and have a summer home there where we can escape the desert heat. We are semi-retired and spend our time between Yuma and Williams. We feel very fortunate to be able to live in both places.
Rita Ammons purchased this House in 2009
Why Rita Ammons chose Williams
When looking for a rental, we fell in love with this home. Its vintage character and history sealed the deal for us. It is one of the original homes built in Williams and is in a great location. We hope everyone who visits will enjoy it as much as we do.
What makes this House unique
Spacious rooms, vintage furnishings, great neighborhood, and only two very short blocks to Route 66.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
We adore the Century House!
We just love staying at the Century House. This was our second time and probably not the last! Rita is a wonderful person to work with, everything goes smoothly. We enjoy the fact all the lakes are pretty close. The house is family friendly, mom can't walk and she was able to navigate in and around with her electric scooter. The grandkids always love the loft, it is so cute! With plenty of local places to eat and a grocery store, it is a nice place to unwind and maybe unplug just a bit ( there is Dish and Wi-Fi don't panic)! There is also a new upgraded grill (loved it Rita!). Enjoy, we did!
Thank you for the nice words. Come back to see us soon!
Excellent place to stay
What could say?! This house is amazing. Perfect family house to stay for a couple of days or weeks. I would definitely recommend this place!!!
Awww, thank you. We're so glad to have you. Please come back and visit us.
Will be back
We were a family of 6, the house location was perfect, weather was awesome, quiet neighborhood. Only thing 1 bathroom but we knew that already so just had to figure that out. If possible maybe add a couple of bikes at house that would have been nice.
The house was clean and stocked with necessities.
We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that was unusual about this house was that there was no door on the master bedroom. It opened to the dining room, so at night it felt weird to be so open. Also, access to the third bedroom was through the master; a little been unusual, but not a big deal.
Quaint and Charming
I lived here for almost nine months. It's in a great location and a great neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. The owner is accessible, is a nice person, is very responsive and is a very good problem solver. The new furnace and three new wall-mounted heaters work well if you are considering a stay in the cold weather months. And the front and side porches are outstanding spots for meeting neighbors, sipping wine and/or watching the sun set. You'll have no regrets.
You were a perfect fit! Thank you for taking such great care of our home and for being such a good neighbor. We will miss you for sure.
Good luck on your new adventure.
Very nice loved the shower and bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Very nice, and comfortable. Neighbors are friendly and tha area is safe. Rita had everything just right for us. It was very nice to return to the Century house after a long day of site seeing.
Join in the fun at Route 66 (2 short blocks away) and visit its many shops and eateries. It is a short walk to the Grand Canyon Railway and you can visit the Visitors Center along the way . The Zipline is nearby and don't forget to visit Bearizona! It's an easy beautiful drive to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff or Sedona. There are several nearby lakes and lots of wildlife for you to enjoy; elk, deer, antelope, turkeys, coyotes, and many other animals. Hiking trails are bundant and the fishing is great. Williams is a great area for family fun. Come have fun with us.
