About US: Having been raised in NE and exposed to the Berkshires as a child, it was my hope and dream to enjoy the area as an adult with my family. We do not live close by, but we still enjoy the cottage with family and friends and many of the available activities including the beautiful surrounding enviornment so meticulously maintained . We want to share this wonderful experience with you and hope you too get to know and enjoy this "jewel" of a location as a friend so aptly called it and feel as if this is yours for a summer and love it as we do
Joan Tracht purchased this cottage in 1973
We love the simplicity of the small cottage, knowing the basics are here to live the simple life, with views of beautiful green hills surrounding you. This is a place where the sun in the later afternoon shines on the lake making it glisten and reflects into your living room creating a lovely golden glow. We love the surprising diversity of this rural life- a place to easily enjoy a quiet, country walk...., or than maybe attend a world reknown Tanglewood concert while sitting on the lawn and picnicing !!!. . A place where families can create memories, wonderful times, practice their paddling skills on the lake and enjoy the simple life, "STOCKY".
