Beautiful Home on Highland Lake
average rating of 4.8461537 based on 13 reviews

Lovely house with excellent views.

  • 5 of 5

The house was as described by the owner. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. All the beds were comfortable and everything worked.

We enjoyed using the canoe and the kayak a lot on the lake. We made s’mores round the fire pit and had several BBQs. The lake was clean and warm and we enjoyed exploring it.

Bridgton was charming and has a range of independent shops and eateries.

I would recommend this for a relaxing holiday in a comfortable house with lots of amenities. Rita was very helpful before our visit and answered all our queries fully.

Great set up for two families

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for just one night after skiing at Shawnee for the day. The house was spotless, well set up and very comfortable. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids, will definitely return again and again!

A wonderful week on Highland Lake

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this home at Highland Lake. The house is beautiful and offers many of the comforts of home: 2 full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen (dishes, pans, utensils, etc.) and comfortable dining and living rooms. We especially enjoyed the deck which overlooks the lake and offered hours of time outside.

The canoe and kayak were an added bonus as were the washer & dryer.

We would highly recommend this home which is in the heart of Bridgton and close to many activities.

Beautiful Highland Lake

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay of a week in Windsor Cottage immensely. The cottage is just as shown in the pictures. It feels new and the furniture and beds are very comfortable. Since it isn't air conditioned there were plenty of fans and we were able to survive the hot days. The lake and small beach is an easy walk from the house. There are lawn chairs to take and a hand cart to move the canoe or kayak down to the lake. The house is a walkable distance to town but recommend driving to the nearby Hannaford market. We could not have asked for a better house! The owner was very responsive and accommodating with our dog. There was even a dog gate. Highly recommend Windsor Cottage.

Spacious and clean!

  • 4 of 5

This is a nice new home with all the basics. Caretaker was very responsive. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for 2 families of 4. Wifi wasn't working but we also didn't really bother to troubleshoot. Looks like it would be a great summer spot.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking time to submit a review. And my many apologies for the internet being down during your stay. I have been in contact with the company and the issue has been resolved. Thank you for the feedback on my home as well as my property manager. She has been a wonderful help to me by making herself available to help my guests with anything she can. As an owner my goal is to have all guests comfortable and pleased with their stay. I thank you for being really great guests and hope that you will return for another visit to enjoy the lake and the little town of Bridgton. Again thank you for the review, all reviews are welcomed as they provide a way to improve where needed and or give a sense of joy when others love being there as much as we do. Sincerely, Rita Rohrberg Owner
