The list goes on and on about the fun stories that this house could tell. It took a year and a half to renovate this as our dream home and we would love to share it with you.

Beautiful house with a great, nice host!

  • 5 of 5

This was a beautiful house to stay in with some neat add-ons such as the filtered water, the French press coffee option and a beautiful back patio. I would definitely recommend it for folks. The decor is very unique and inviting. You feel like you are in a vacation home somewhere outside of a city. The neighborhood is neat and very near the SEPTA and other cool neighborhoods. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Philly.

Great Home away from Home!

  • 5 of 5

I took the family to Philly for a week of brotherly love and had just a great time. Kristy and Paul were just amazing host, they meet us at the door and gave us a great tour of their home providing us with a good break down of the area. Plenty of good restaurants close by and all in good walking distance... the parking is a little tricky but Kristy gives you plenty of advice on places to find parking so really not a worry there. The location is also great for Penn's Landing and any of the downtown sites, very short drive.

Thank you Kristy, Paul and Truett for welcoming us, if you ever visit the Chattanooga, TN area please look us up, would love to show you around town.

Take Care

Awesome Design, Premium Finishes, Great Location and Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

My wife, son and I stayed at this home because the pictures were just so cool looking. If you are someone who has an eye for design and enjoys staying somewhere hip and well appointed, this is the place for you. Paul the owner/designer renovated the entire property himself and did an outstanding design. He is a local interior designer/builder and the property is flawlessly designed. From the gourmet kitchen with accordion doors opening to the back patio to the french doors leading to the front balcony, we enjoyed every part. Great neighborhood and a quiet street. Just minutes to walk to some of the best restaurants in all of Philadelphia. A park, half a block away for our son too. Kristy and Paul were great hosts and really make you feel welcomed. Great communication too. Everything went as planned. You want for nothing here and we will return for our next visit to Philly.

Just as described. Lovely Stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this beautiful home for a week and felt so at home here. The location was close to coffee shops, restaurants and a lively park. Easy to get around and see all that we wanted to see in the City but also a very neighborhood feel which we like. We felt like locals and that is exactly what we were looking for. The home was perfect in every way. The kitchen made it fun to cook when we weren't eating out. The backyard was cosy and perfect for our family to sit in the evenings with a glass of wine. The attention to detail in this home stood out and really put our experience over the top. Kristi and Paul were kind and met us upon arrival to show us around and answer all our questions. They made us feel at home. We want to move in but we will settle with coming to visit again instead. If you are looking for a higher end feel with all the details and amenities, this is the home for you. We wouldn't change anything about our trip. You can't go wrong here.

We will come back

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home for a valentines getaway. We were pleasantly surprised that the home looks exactly as it did in the pictures.

We were greeted by the owners Kristy and Paul who showed us around the house and told us all about the great local places to eat and nearby East Passyunk Square which was full of restaurants and little shops.

The house was clean and every decoration was nicely thought out and placed. I felt like I was sleeping in one of those magazine homes, definitely not a hotel. We had a great stay here. It was nice to use the backyard and grill the day it was beautiful weather. The doors opened up into the backyard and we were able to enjoy coffee outside and relax in the garden.

The bed was much more comfortable than my own, we slept great and felt like we were pampered the whole time.

Overall, we had such a great stay that we will be back for our next stay in Philadelphia.

Beautiful and Special home to enjoy!

  • 5 of 5

My family (self, husband and daughter) had the opportunity to stay in this lovely home on a recent trip to Philadelphia. We prefer to stay in homes/locations that provide a bit of the feel of the city vs staying in a generic hotel, and this charming home did just that.

The street we were on was quiet and low-key, with families and people out walking their dogs. The home decor is new, beautiful and very special, utilizing unique re-purposed materials that Kristy's husband assembled himself. My daughter enjoyed relaxing with Netflix and Apple TV at night, while my husband and I absolutely LOVED the small, lush backyard area with teak table and beautiful string lights - we sat outside every balmy evening. There's even a small balcony off the main bedroom with lovely flower boxes and small sitting table.

And while the house is a bit of a distance from historic downtown (a bit too far to walk but we had a car, so not an issue, and parking was fine at the house), we really enjoyed the local neighborhood. Kristy directed us to nearby Passyunk Street (a five minute walk), which is buzzing with activity and packed with restaurants, bars and fun shops - we even enjoyed a pop-up outdoor beer garden one day. It is also just a few blocks from two of the famous cheese-steak restaurants in town, Geno's and Pat's, which are right around the corner from each other in a veritable cheese-steak war!

Kristy was responsive and gracious hostess, and the she left us with a fridge breakfast goodies and some other treats. and we would definitely return.
