Cute and convenient!
Great place to stay with our adult children--roomy kitchen to cook meals, comfortable beds; location was perfect for travels further up the North Shore or for walking to downtown Two Harbors.
Felt cozy just like home!
We loved staying at Linda’s for a long weekend up north. Her place is comfy and has a very family-friendly feel. It was perfect for two families of two toddlers, and the dining room table and grand piano was a big hit! Linda is very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Very happy with the accommodations
Enjoyed our stay. House is clean and cozy and cery close to so many sites to tour.
Great place for a family getaway
Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed!
We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy home. Our favorite feature of the home was the front porch, and fortunately, the weather was fine for us to enjoy the porch whenever we were at the home. The two bedrooms upstairs were really sweet. Although there was a air conditioner only in one room, we were able to open the screened windows in the other room and let the Minnesota breeze come in. The bathroom upstairs was charming with the claw foot tub etc.
There was additional sleeping space in the basement. One of our party enjoyed sleeping in the cool basement. Although the toilet and shower down stairs were both closed off with curtains instead of doors, we found it very adequate and convenient and loved the art (cat tails painted on the wall) that surrounded the bathroom. Having a handsome old chair near the shower made a convenient place to put our items (those little touches can make a difference).
Although we didn't do much cooking at the house, it seemed to be a very well appointed kitchen had we needed to cook.
My sister and I enjoyed walking to the lake after our morning coffee and visiting with the very helpful person at the Visitor Center.
As is often the case with houses I've stayed at, the longer we were there (3 nights) we gradually noticed more artistic and whimsical touches throughout the house! We also appreciated several "take-away"ideas of sustainable living such as cutting sponges and the artisan crafted soap into small pieces to reduce waste.
Very homey house. It was happily and unexpectedly stocked with cooking options. The basement shower not at all spooky or shabby. We were happy for the air conditioner. It could use a more comfortable mattress in the second bedroom but overall very comfortable.
