Also, Edgerton has a great Aquatic Facility for relaxing around the pool on a hot summer day. Have lunch at Off The Hook Grub/Pub or The Edgewater Cafe. Pick up some bait and supplies at Treps Bait Shop. Enjoy the sights and sounds of wildlife from the nearby wetlands throughout the seasons. Enjoy great fishing year long, or play on the snowmobile trails. This is a great place to just watch the world go by.
Janesville is a great city that is only a 15 minute drive from the Cottage. You can visit the Rotary Botanical Gardens, Rock County Historical Society or the Camden Playground for the kiddies, or bike and roller blade paths. Twenty percent of Wisconsin's buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places are located in Janesville. Janesville has a charming old downtown with the Ice Age bike trail cutting right through town.
Fort Atkinson is a 20 minute drive to Fireside Dinner Theatre which has live professional show in the intimate theatre-in-the-round. The Fireside Dinner Theatre is one of the Midwest's most popular entertainment destinations and the only Actor’s Equity dinner theatre in Wisconsin. Fort Atkinson also has riding stables and horseback riding.
