Overview

About the property

4 BR, 3.5 BA with multiple decks

This incredibly spacious and professionally decorated townhouse has four bedrooms, including TWO large master suites with private baths. (Linens and towels not included.)

The open first-floor kitchen, dining and living space -- and the outdoor space for grilling and lawn games -- is perfect for large families or groups of friends. It's a quick bike or drive to the beach and boardwalk, outlets, wildlife trails and more.

All four bedrooms have direct access to decks, including private decks for both masters and a shared deck for the smaller two rooms.

The oversized master suite on the upper level is practically an apartment unto itself, with its own living room, couch, chairs, king-sized bed, two walk-in closets, jacuzzi tub and deck.

The master suite on the second floor also has a king-sized bed, private deck, two walk-in closets and a private bathroom.

Bedrooms #3 and #4 (both on the second floor) share a deck, with sliding glass doors from each room leading to the shared deck.

Bedroom #3 has a full-size bunk bed arrangement with a twin trundle below, and bedroom #4 has twin beds.

The washer/dryer are located on the second floor.

The kitchen is fully equipped for fun times (dishes, blender, coffee maker, toaster, and large pantry) and the outdoor furniture awaits your company.

Feel free to store your gear -- or your car -- in the attached garage.

If the beach isn't your thing, soak in the sun at the community pool or get soaked at nearby Jungle Jim's Waterpark. For views of the bay and golf course, walk the dog around Rehoboth Beach Yacht & Country Club next door. But be sure to go for a walk, run or bike on the wooded trail you can pick up just across the highway (off Hebron Road).

Visit the builder's website for views of the pool: http://www.thompsoncommunities.net/gallery.php?community_id=86

This is a weekly rental during the summer. Three-night minimum at other times.

Linens and towels are not included.

About Melissa Wyatt

Longtime Washington, D.C., residents, Jami and Melissa Wyatt have spent countless weekends on the shores and ponds of Rehoboth. (In the photo, we're launching a late-summer Chinese Wish Lamp across Delaware Bay.)

The fun in the sun ended two years ago, when we moved to wine and horse country, Charlottesville, Va., to bring our two small boys closer to their grandparents.

Melissa Wyatt purchased this townhome in 2012

Why Melissa Wyatt chose Rehoboth Beach

This is our second Rehoboth home-away-from-home.

We had our first Rehoboth beach house for two fun-filled (and somewhat beer-soaked) years before our kids came along. We spent virtually every weekend at the beach, the stress of Washington melting away the moment we hit the Bay Bridge. We loved biking to the beach with just a towel and suit, hitting Zogg's, the Purple Parrot or Henlopen Oyster House on our way home. We'd spend long afternoons running or biking along the wooded trail that leads from 1A all the way to historic Lewes, and watching thousands of migrating birds make a layover on Gordon's Pond.

We knew we wanted the beach to be part of our family's life, so we started looking to upgrade to a larger house in 2012. We launched another wishing light the night before our second RB house-hunt began, hoping the next house would bring us as much joy and connection as the first.

The moment we entered The Seasons' tree-lined drive, where a heron stood sentry in the marsh, we were sold.

From the back decks, we could hear the wind rustle through the trees and marsh grasses, and the frogs peep and croak on the ponds. Our wish had come true.

The townhouse was beautiful, clean and close to Coastal Highway. Everything went smoothly; no problems at all. Melissa the owner was very helpful and easy to work with. I recommend this home highly.

Accomadating

  • 5 of 5

The home is very well kept in a very nice community, very close to the outlets, restaurants and more. I really appreciate the owner Melissa reaching out to us to make sure that all was well with the property. The property had movies for the entire family to enjoy. Thanks to the Wyatts for allowing us to visit there property for a very relaxing Thanksgiving holiday!!!

family friendly townhome

  • 5 of 5

We were 4 generations including a 10 week old Baby and a 75 year old great grandmother. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet.

The kitchen had everything we needed. It is close to shops, restaurants and the beach. We especially liked the baby swing. Thank you Melissa!

Fantastic experience!

  • 5 of 5

We hosted my parent's 50th wedding anniversary celebration and everyone was very impressed. The house worked well for three generations and was conveniently located to all the local attractions.

Melissa was very helpful any time that we had a question and responded quickly.

Perfect for multiple families

  • 5 of 5

We had five adults, three kids, and two dogs for our summer vacation. It is about 2 miles to the beach but has an onsite community pool. Minutes to the outlets, the speedway amusement center, restaurants, and grocery store. Close to Dewey beach and an hour from Ocean City. Beautiful home. Quiet neighborhood. Not a party atmosphere. Clean home with a lot of room to spread people out. Owner was quick to respond to all questions even after our arrival. Thank you Melissa!

Amazing Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

The house was BEAUTIFUL!!! We have rented vacation homes before but nothing even comes close to this house. It was a short distance to the beach, shopping of all sorts, a water park, a go cart track, and to great eating. Everyone in our family enjoyed themselves. The community the house was in has a pool, which was nice as we all were tired of the beach by mid week.

The house had everything we needed from linens to a fully furnished kitchen, enough to serve the 10 to 12 people we had there throughout the week.

The owner was friendly and responsive throughout the process-before and after we decided to rent. Whenever we had a question, she responded in minutes every time.

I would recommend this property to everyone and would stay here again.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words! Just to clarify for future renters: linens and towels are not actually provided, because there's no reliable way to make sure they are clean for the next renters.
