Why Karen Haskins chose Encinitas
Mark and I found this this property shortly after we were married. We have enjoyed remodeling it to our tastes and turning the land into a lush garden. We love the fresh ocean breezes from the ocean, and the privacy our 1/2 acre affords us. We are happy to see our children being active outdoors for a healthy balance in this age of technology.

Gem in Encinitas
We truly enjoyed our time at this property. It was perfect for our small family of 3 and our dog. It was clean and well equipped! Thank you Karen for sharing your place with us.
Perfect for what I was looking for, Easy access to everything around San Diego, close to the beach, very clean, and Karen was there whenever you needed her for anything. Would definitely stay here again.
Close to Everything
Karen was a great host. From the initial contact, she was very accommodating. When we had a couple of adjustments during our planning she was able to come up with a solution. She made herself available throughout the trip without overdoing it. A quick question we had was immediately answered via text. She touched base with us once to make sure our stay was going well.
The home was perfect for my wife and I, and our small dog. The place seems brand new!! It is attached to the main house, but you would never know. The private patio off the master is very peaceful. The location is also great. It is east of I5, but right off a road that crosses the interstate (without dealing with exit and on ramps) that takes you right to all the shops and restaurants that Encinitas has to offer. We love Cardiff and Solana beach and you can get their in minutes. I would definitely recommend this place!
I was completely satisfied ~ The property is an oasis ~ lush, private, with fenced yard for the dog. Both inside and out was clean, and the beds comfortable. The beach is close by, as well as cafes and coffee shops - some even within walking distance! We had a great time at the close-by activities like Quail Gardens, Legoland and the Leucadia Farmer's Market! The management was easy to work with and very friendly. I highly recommend this property ~ We are planning to make this an annual trip and most definitely book this location again.
Appreciated the attention to detail!
I cannot say enough good things about this rental. It was an awesome getaway. It had lots of tropical landscaping all around. I love listening to all the birds. The bed was incredibly comfortable with luxurious sheets and towels. I loved the kitchen which had everything I needed with an extra special touch. There was nice furnishings, granite countertops etc., everything was very clean. I enjoyed the deck with pretty views, the patio and yard was a plus for outside entertainment. My niece and nephew enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit.
Karen and Mark were very gracious hosts. They always responded quickly when I had questions about the washer, etc. Karen made sure to be there when I arrived to show me around. She provided a surprise welcome basket with snacks and fresh fruit which was great after hectic traveling. The beach and shopping were only minutes away, I didn't even need to pack anything but my bathing suit for the beach as all was provided for my boyfriend and I including a cooler, beach towels and chairs even a boogie board. I will definitely be saying there again when I have a chance.
I love when my life is made easy!...especially on a vacation!!!!
