4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, beautiful lodge-style home close to Lake Tahoe
Our mountain lodge-style home in the Talmont Estates area of Tahoe City comfortably fits 8 adults, with beds for a couple more kids in a room off the Master. Hot tub, two wi-fi-connected TVs with blu-ray players, and a ping pong table in the three car garage provide plenty of entertainment options for kids and adults. The fully-equipped kitchen is open to the living and dining areas, ideal for group meals. There's a good-sized deck with a propane BBQ directly off the great room. The house has two fireplaces--one in the master and one in the great room. "Peek-a-boo" views of Lake Tahoe from the great room and deck. The master bedroom and one guest bedroom are upstairs, down the hall from the great room. Two more guest bedrooms and an additional living area are downstairs--the additional living area is good for a kids play area. The house has wi-fi internet throughout.
Guests have access to the private Tahoe Park HOA beach area, with two piers, 850 feet of beach, swimming area (in the summer), volleyball court, BBQs, picnic tables, bocce ball, and horseshoes.
The Talmont Estates area of Tahoe City, where the house is located, is in the hills above the Northwest shore of Lake Tahoe, about a mile south of the intersection of highway 89 and W Lake Blvd (by the Save-Mart grocery store, the Dam Cafe). Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resorts are approximately a 10-15 minute drive, Homewood is 5-10 minutes, Northstar is 35 minutes. Paige Meadows, with its extensive network of hiking and biking trails, is just 3 blocks walk from the house. Sunnyside Restaurant is down the hill.
The home has a three-car garage plus a driveway for parking. 4WD strongly recommended in the snow months.

About Jennifer O'Connor
We're a family that lives in San Francisco, and we get up to our house in Tahoe whenever we can!
Jennifer O'Connor purchased this House in 2015
Why Jennifer O'Connor chose Sunnyside
After years of renting in Tahoe in both the winter and summer, we decided to buy a place. We wanted a beautiful home, big enough for our extended families and friends to gather, cook delicious meals, and hang out in Tahoe's great outdoors. This house was perfect.
What makes this House unique
The HOA beach, the Tahoe Park Association, is a large and spacious place with nice grassy areas, bbqs, children's play area, and even basketball courts, in addition to the two piers on the lake and boat buoys. We love it.

Our favorite winter getaway!
This is our 2nd time staying at Jennifer's Mountain Home, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The house is so lovely and perfect for a group of 8, and I just love cooking in that beautiful kitchen while friends curl up reading or are off on the slopes.
Very Roomy & Comfortable Ski Chalet
The home is as advertised, very roomy and comfortable. The 3 car garage is a big advantage when it's snowing so you don't have to dig out your car in the morning. The snow clearing crews arrived before we left for the slopes each morning. The house is well-equipped. Flip a switch and the big fireplaces in the living room and master bed turn on immediately. The hot tub is conveniently located on the back porch. The owners were very thoughtful and were easy to communicate with. We had also rented this house from the previous owners a few years ago and plan to rent it again from the current owners.
Beautiful home and central location!
Wonderful stay. Only positive things to say about this cozy home. Super central location. We will definitely be back!
A little bit of "Heavenly"
It was picture-perfect for a Thanksgiving family celebration.
The house, the charming town, the restaurants, the lake, snowing shoe, Emerald bay.
Kitchen was well stocked with supplies and utensils. Was able to make turkey and all the fixings including the apple pie.
My adult children thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a busy day.
The fireplace was so inviting – a great place to make wonderful memories.
Beautiful Tahoe City Home
This property was the perfect place for our family vacation this summer... Very spacious and accomadated each of the 3 families. We felt it was perfect for small children to run around without fear of getting hurt! We would definately rent this beautiful home again.
Our extended family of 7 including an 8 month old loved staying at this beautiful, peaceful, large, & very comfortable cabin. This cabin had everything one could possibly need even for a baby. It is located on a beautiful street with gorgeous lake views through the trees. We enjoyed the hot-tub, ping-pong table, deck, bbq & so much more. The baby had a crib, white noise, high chair & toys waiting for him. We all had the best time & look forward to future stays.
Located in Tahoe City on the West Shore. Less than 20 minutes to Squaw and Alpine ski resorts, 10 minutes to Homewood, 30 mins to Northstar, 45 minutes to Heavenly. Walking distance to Paige Meadows, an extensive trail system great for hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. Private beach for Homeowner's association with barbecues, bocce ball, volleyball courts.
