Overview

About the property

Remote And Beautiful, That's The Best Description Of The Northwest Point.

This comfortably equipped and beautifully designed 1 bedroom condo in Northwest Point Resort overlooks the ocean and the National Park, guaranteeing peace and quiet. On the top floor with no noise from the pool and a very private balcony. Ideally suited to those who want a natural sanctuary - great swimming, snorkeling and hiking. Ideal kitchen for cooking, modern shower, and a pull-out couch for an occasional third guest. Your biggest decision of the day will be what to read on the beach - feel free to browse our library. As the on-site restaurant is currently inactive, be prepared to make your own meals. A rental car is essential for grocery shopping (Quality Supermarket on Leeward Highway or Grace Beach IGA) and other Provo escapades. Most suited to those who want to relax in their own company - reading, writing, reflecting and connecting. Top notch restaurants, Duty-Free shops and tourist attractions are no more than 20 minutes away by car. If you absolutely cannot stand the sound of the surf anymore, there is internet, cable TV, a DVD player, CD players etc.

For fitness buffs, there's a lap-size pool and gym. A walk or run on the beach to the point (where there is an osprey nest) is bliss.

Why Property Manager/Owner chose Providenciales

It's simply the most private unit in the complex of only 30. Located on the top (3rd) floor, it overlooks the ocean and the expansive national park. No neighbours peeking in your windows (unless you count ospreys and cranes).

Definitely Far From The Madding Crowd

  • 5 of 5

We knew when we rented that we were out of the tourist district of T&C. That said, the resort is several miles from the nearest paved road. As we first drove to the resort in our car (air conditioned golf cart) you are on a long strait paved road. Then in the distance you see the paved road ends. While you do not need 4WD, you follow the a rough unpaved road for several miles to the Northwest Point Resort.

The location is what it is. The remote local is both a blessing and a sin. There were days we would have the pool or beach to ourselves. Except for the 4th of July bonfire it was rare to see more than a dozen people.

The resort is in decent condition but will mention there were some maintenance issues outside (exterior tiles missing / cracked). The unit is on the 3rd floor with only stairs (if nothing else we got to burn off some of the beer and rum). The unit itself was in good shape. By no means luxurious, but a nice clean vacation rental. We were pleasantly surprised with the partial ocean view from the balcony. The kitchen was well supplied with everything you would expect.

There is a nice pool to relax by. The restaurant is good for lunch, but dinner hours are sketchy. The jerk chicken was the best meal I had on the island. The beach has clear water but the area is natural so there is seaweed.

We typically crashed at the resort for a day or two and then spent a day in civilization to a public beach, shopping, etc. On the way home we would resupply with enough beer and food to make it a few more days.

On more than one occasion it felt like we were alone. While heading toward the touristy resorts offer more to do, you do not get that relaxing island oasis vibe. You will not be waited on 24/7 but it is one of the most relaxing places we found on the island far from the madding crowd.

Beautiful views, clean, updated condo

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay in this beautiful condo. It is very spacious with a nice layout and gorgeous ocean views from both the bedroom and the living room. The balcony outside was such a bonus with a nice table and chairs and again the beautiful beach view and ocean breeze. The kitchen was very well-stocked, with any kind of pot, pan, utensil, or appliance you could need. The condo had its own WiFi, which was very convenient as the resort's WiFi can be spotty from within the condos.

The resort itself is very well-maintained and was a very enjoyable place to stay. The pool and beach were great and the gardens and courtyards with fountain were unexpectedly beautiful. It is quiet and relaxing.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay in this condo and at Northwest Point Resort. It is a great place for families, couples, or anyone who wants to get away in a truly beautiful tropical setting.

Great Place

  • 5 of 5

Welcome to your new private vacation home! This condo is a great cozy space, with a fantastic kitchen and bathroom. The balcony overlooks a 300 acre national park, and you will see literally no one when you look out, but you will see T&C beauty in all its glory. It's a quick 20 minute car ride from the airport and all other amenities you will need.

Owner's Response: I am glad that you have enjoyed my winter home as much as we do - I was joking with my doctor that he should prescribe a stay there for high blood pressure - it surely reduces mine!
