This newly refurbished two-story home with marble floors downstairs and hardwood floors upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths that can sleep six adults. While the front guest room has a Juliet balcony, the master bedroom opens onto a large sundeck that is ideal for tanning as well as for breakfast. Meals can be served at the kitchen counter, on the covered patio, on the sun deck, and in the dining room where a candle wall creates a stunning incandescence for romantic and intimate dining. A new kitchen with granite counters, cherry cabinets, and high end stainless appliances opens to a wonderful family room with a large granite fireplace and new accordion patio doors that emphasize outdoor living. The newly remodeled patio features an outdoor gas grill, a cozy gas fire pit, and an artistically designed fountain. A high speed In-home WiFi supports a Roku and Nintendo Wii in the family room; a Sony PS3 and a Nintendo Switch in the front guest bedroom, and a Roku and Chromecast in the master bedroom, all connected to three flat screen TVs and enhanced sound systems. A recreation center off of the patio comes complete with table tennis, air hockey, foosball, a digital key board, bicycles, boogie boards, scooters, skate boards, and board games. Although most Coronado homes are not air conditioned owing to an average temperature of 71 degrees in July, the home does come with air conditioning in the event it is needed. Weekly cleaning is provided. The home is centrally located in Coronado Village almost equidistant from Coronado Beach and the shops at the Coronado Ferry Landing.

About Gene Gomulka
I have 12 year old twins and we rent our home in July when we return to the East Coast to visit relatives and friends. In 2014 we made numerous home improvements which included building a candle wall in the dining area; converting the shower/bath in the Master Bedroom bathroom to a walk-in shower; converting the two car garage into a recreation center; and replacing the grass in the back yard with a flag stone patio complete with an outdoor grilling station, a fire pit, and a truly artistically designed fountain.
Gene Gomulka purchased this House in 2013
Why Gene Gomulka chose Coronado Village
The property is gated and very secure in a neighborhood where we all look out for and take care of one another. The layout allows for family flexibility. Children can be watching TV or playing video games in the front room while the parents are relaxing in the back room, or vice-versa. Meals can be taken in different places or the same meal can be served in courses in different areas (appetizers at the counter, main course at the dining room table, and dessert on the patio or around the fire pit). Children can also play in the recreation center while adults entertain family and friends in various parts of the house.
What makes this House unique
It's equidistant location between Coronado Beach and the Ferry Landing makes it easy to get to all the main landmarks such as the Hotel del Coronado, Spreckel's Park, the Coronado Library and the restaurants and shops on Orange Avenue.

Perfect location for young families
After enjoying about six weeks at this place, we can highly recommend it to everyone who wants to spend some quiet and relaxing time. The owners are friendly, accommodating and totally reliable.
The house itself is spacious, well equipped and in a good condition - especially compared to most other houses on the island. We especially liked the nice and cozy backyard where we spent most of our time.
Coronado is perfect for young families: a small, quiet and green island with nice and spacious beaches. San Diego can be reached within less than half an hour and is also well worth a few trips.
