About Debra Guluzzo

My family has been on this street for over 75 years. Beginning in the 1940"s, my grandparents purchased a small beach cabin to escape the summer heat of San Jose. Three generations enjoyed the beauty of this area and shared good times with family and friends .Loving it so much , my parents bought a lot next door to the cabin in the 1980's and built a home which we are now offering for rent.

The view from the living room and kitchen is fantastic, and you can't beat the location. Debra and John, the owners, are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. The beds were very comfortable and the location was ideal. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the landlord and her brother were quite accommodating. Perfect vacation.

The house is lovely and situated literally a block from the beach. The sleeping areas and the "living" areas on different floors and sound doesn't travel, allowing for people to go to sleep early or wake late and not be disturbed by others with different sleep schedules. Deb was just wonderful, easily accessed if we had questions about the house but never intrusive. We took my mother there for a family celebration of her 70th and she hasn't stopped smiling!!

We spend one week in santa cruz every year and this was our best vacation yet. The kitchen is fully stocked with everthing you could possible need to cook a full meal for your family. The beds were amazing. Everything was spotless on arrival which is not something we are used to with other vacation rentals and hotels in the area. The pictures online do not due justice to the home or the view. Also the pictures make the 30 second walk to the beach look longer than it is. The owners, Debra and John, were very friendly and very helpful thru the reservations process and getting us in and out. I could go on and on about how happy we were with our stay but you probably get the picture!

Perfect beach access, awesome views, comfortable and homey!

The house has everything a large group or family could need. The stairs even provide a great workout, so the elevator wasn't even needed for our group! The kitchen has one of the most perfect beach views anywhere, and is well equipped for adventurous cuisine or just snacking. Plenty of room including 2 balconies 9for entertaining or lounging when not at the beach. The availability of boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas made the beach a delight. We loved the little back yard and the outdoor shower. For our group that included 4 kids, the washer and dryer were a godsend. Highly recommended!

Super Place to rent!

The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. Every room is spacious, very clean, cutely decorated and has comfortable beds.The ocean views were better than in the pictures and the top deck is the perfect dining spot. Deb has it stocked with everything you'd need too. It's just steps from the beach, a great coffee shop/ beach restaurant & bar/quaint market on the harbor. We could not have picked a better rental and location! The owner Deb and her husband were friendly and very accommodating :)

Just 3 doors from Twin Lakes Beach- our three story beach house provides all that's needed for a great get-away .Spectacular views of the beach and bay. Steps from the sand as well as the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor which offers not only day time activities such as stand up paddling, whale watching, sunset cruises on the Chardonnay and rides in the harbor on the free water taxi, but also has an eclectic variety of restaurants to discover. Within walking distance is the Crow's Nest Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and great Happy Hour deals. Also is Cafe El Palomar, featuring local Mexican cuisine, as well as Aldo's and the Harbor Cafe, both with excellent breakfast and brunch menus. Also,the family friendly Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is within walking distance or 10 minutes by car. An hour's drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the quaint town of Carmel.
