About LAUREN DIVELLO
I was a widow fairly young with 3 children, now they are ages 17, 18 and 21. My late husband and I loved our Maine house so much we decided to add on to it making it into the beautiful place it now is. Lots of wonderful memories there for both me and my children. We decided to rent it out to others so they can enjoy what we have been for many years! My family and I reside in NJ but often visit our Maine home!
LAUREN DIVELLO purchased this House in 2007

In the woods
We enjoyed our time with family. Spacious home deep in the woods. Good place to get a way from everything ! We had a wonderful time.
Great place to get away and connect with family.
When we got there I was a little disappointed and concerned being so far out and when we entered the inside seemed dark and musty.the downstairs bedrooms need remolded but upstairs rooms are perfect. As we opened the windows and turned on the lights the house came to life. The more time we spent there the more beautiful the inside became. My family enjoyed staying there. My wife and I had the house to ourselves for two days after everyone left. This place is not for vacationers on the go but for people who love nature and spending time with family one of the best vacations I’ve had. Thank you Loren for the use of your beautiful home.
Relaxation and Fun on Graham Lake
We (two couples) just stayed for a great 2 weeks at this cool home on Graham Lake. We tow a boat and keep it docked at the house. The guys fish most every day and the ladies enjoy building a fire and relaxing outside, reading books and a day trip somewhere each week. While there we saw a black bear, porcupines, deer, turkeys, loons, eagles, ospreys, hawks, turtles, chipmunks, ducks, and more. We love the house and all the space it has. The owner, Lauren Divello, is great to work with and very responsive. We rate it 5 stars because we it is perfect for us. This is our third year in a row coming up for two weeks……is it 2019 yet???!!!
Eclectic, goofy, weird, and AMAZING!
This house was nothing short of amazing! And the eclectic decor just adds to the whole experience! We stayed there with 6 adults, 2 children, and a dog and if we didn't want to see each other all week...we didn't have to! This place was HUGE. The lake was very low due to drought conditions(we actually walked right across it and checked out the beach directly across from us!) but was still enjoyable to be in and sit near during the day and take in the peaceful scenery or have a fire at during the night! Another plus was that the house was secluded! Never saw neighbors and barely saw anyone on the lake all week! All in all we all had an amazing time at an amazing place and would absolutely book again! If I could give 6 stars I would!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. We are soooo happy you enjoyed our place. You all are welcome back anytime!!!! We really appreciate fantastic renters like you!!!
Beautiful views and lake; house needs cleaning and some work
Upon arrival via a long graveled road (30 min to downtown Ellsworth on winding roads) the house was easily accessible via the key holder. However, the excessive humidity inside the house was evident as the dehumidifier that had been turned on was already full. The mold behind the downstairs shower stall is extreme. There was dust all around the house and on all of the many tchotchkes, which are everywhere. It seemed that no one had been in the house two weeks prior to our arrival, so the house was rather "stale". The other upstairs shower nozzle was off and we put it back on as best as we could. The most interesting room was the upstairs level bear/moose room, but since we came in the summer, we never spent time in there.
It would have been nice to be able to open the sliding glass door to the outside from the kitchen, but it has been broken for a considerable amount of time and there was a note asking for us not to touch it. So, in order to go outside, we had to go through a back hallway or back out through the front door. I have let the owner know about these various issues and she said she is taking care of them. Because we came from SC, I would not pick as remote a location next time.
All that being said, the view from the house is heavenly and we spent most of our time on the lake on the paddle boat or floats purchased by us or visiting local towns and parks.
Lake life at a great house!
We enjoyed our stay so much last year we came back again this year. Great spacious home on the lake with a dock for our boat. Already looking forward to our 3rd annual trip next year! A special thanks to the owner for being so responsive and gracious.
Thank you so so much to such wonderful renters!!! We are very lucky to have you stay here again. You are welcome back anytime!!!!
Swimming, boating, fishing, hiking. paddleboat for your use!!
