Our family of 8 had a great time relaxing in this out of the way cabin. We toured many historic sites in the area and relaxed in the evening with checkers and card games. The cabin was beautifully furnished and clean. Our family enjoyed our stay here very much.
Wonderful quiet get away
We loved or stay, but if you have cricket phone service is a bit touch and go. Most areas in the house I had no cell service. But the Wi-Fi works fine.
A Little Piece of Heaven in the Country!
My 2 grandchildren and I spent one night in this beautiful cabin! Driving down the country lane to the cabin was exciting and we knew before we could see it that we were already in love with the place! The cabin itself was absolutely wonderful! It is an authentic 1800's cabin but has all the modern conveniences to make our stay comfortable! It is small but had everything we required! There is a bedroom downstairs with a comfy Queen bed as well as a bedroom in the upstairs loft accessed with an old staircase (which was really cool too!) with three additional comfy beds! The owner has painstakingly decorated the cabin with a mix of antiques and eclectic items that make you feel at home immediately. They also placed some of the appliances in rustic made cabinets, so at first glance you don't see a microwave or television, but they are there. The kitchen is small as expected but has a stove, microwave, fridge and dishwasher and all of the kitchen utensils required to make your stay comfortable. There is also a WIFI Hotspot for those that must have a connection. We loved playing cards on the front porch and then playing Hide-n-Seek at dusk. We loved the location as well as the solitude and peace it brings by being out in the country all by itself! There is an old structure (Gin or a Mill, I forgot what the owner told me) being reconstructed next to the cabin... it was beautiful as well! We will definitely make plans to return! Thanks to the owner for offering this special piece of "Heaven" to the rest of us!
Really enjoyed our stay here. Very secluded and quiet and was just what we were looking for. Loved the antiques that were present reminded me of our house. Got to speak with Mr. Savage who was rebuilding a cotton gin barn and a mule barn and you could tell he enjoyed the old way of life as we do. All in all good little cabin and good people. Thank you. Sundance our dog says thanks too.
Me and my wife planned out a last minute trip to Nashville and found this property via vrbo. It took a few minutes to figure out the way to this address. Hannah helped us out. She is very quick in responding to emails and phone calls. About the property, this is in an isolated place and we absolutely loved it. Very scenic place, good amenities and calm. Nice place for pets too. Apart from the plenty of hornets on the back porch I give a two thumbs up for this property.
we absolutely loved our stay here. It was so much nicer then we could have expected. Next time, we will plan to stay longer. The whole family fell in love with it immediately.
